Hi mate, It can be challenging, although I still love it. I find it keeps your skills up. It's not as easy as some other drones where you don't need to rely on GPS to keep it on Parth.I find it keeps me focused on the orientation of the drone and have to spent more time counteracting movements, I love it

Yes mate, should be in the air, check that you have good GPs signal on the Ascend app 4 to 5 bars., away from any mobile phone towers or electrical interface. If the drone has had a crash could be a motor. If the drone has done a few hours could be a motor about to fail, there cheep $10

I ordered of jb hi fi and the next day they called me and said it was opened but never flew but I find it a little sketchy should I switch the blades with the extra ones

Just once mate to start and once again to stop, it will record to your phone also the sd card in the drone. The footage on the sd card will be also more clearer than the wifi feed to the phone, hope that helps mate

Thanks, I've got that sorted out now, and taking videos without a problem, and they are recorded on both phone and SD card, however, I'm having no luck taking photos. I'm not sure whether you can take photos when the video is recording, or you can only take photos when you are not recording videos? In any case, I've tried both options, and no photos come up on phone or SD card. Any suggestions?

@@lesdebelin6497 only when not recording video, I've had the same issue, try take the pic from the accend app rather than the controler

@@lailey1972 Thanks - followed your advice, and taking single photos from the App rather than the controller does work, though I wish the controller could do it. Just some info that may help you or others in future. Landed my drone in a creek the other day, and saved it within 10 seconds. Naturally it stopped working, so I shook all the water out. However, it still didn't work i.e. either blades stopped after 2 seconds, or it did lift off a few inches, dropped and stalled. In the end it was just "dead" and no camera vision, although lights still worked. Got the drone to a hair dryer within 15 mins, and gave it a good blast. It's now back to flying normally and the video and single shots working once again.

@@lesdebelin6497good to hear, I think there may be a issue with the wifi connection for the photo and video maybe a distance, I flew about 150 meters and couldn't get the video to start or photos, at a short distance of about less than 30m I don't have a issue

Once everything is connected,Left thumb stick to 5 o'clock position and right thumb stick to 7oclock position will unlock and start motors
