Awesome! I wish I had seen this before putting duct tape on the frayed elbow rests only for the adhesive to melt during the warm weather and cause my elbows to become caked in glue. My secret lab chair may look ridiculous with socks on the elbow pads but it does the job.

Ignore all those warning not to use acetone on plastics. Theyre being foolish because not all plastics are the same. ABS is a plastic and it disolves in acetone, as does some others, but not all. Think about this people, acetone wouldnt be sold in 20L plastic drums if it was harmful to all plastics now would it?

Thanks how to open it. It was very hard work. Removing the tiny connectors from the speakers was torture. Removing the battery took a lot of work cause of the glue. Once is installed, put it back together except the Headphone jack won't lined up with the slider and noticed they were pulled halfway up and I was shocked. Used the pliers to line the metal contacts and pressed down and got in. The volume slider took a bit longer to stay there. Closed everything, tested the volume slider, buttons and turned on and it works. As for the headphone jack, I couldn't get the connector jack, I had to force in and push & pull several times and it works. Turned the N2DS XL and it works tested the speakers and the headphone jack and they both works. That was a lot of work to change a battery.

Now tell me how old was this, and why it comes off like a brand new one in the shop. I tried to remove mine and it didn't budge. Then what do you do Heat, wd40, vinegar, CLR,.... .?

This is absolutely terrible I can't believe you're using a knife/box cutter to take this thing apart. You were so close to slicing the ribbon cables when separating the 2 halves near the hinge lmao.
