For those of you dying of curiosity to know exactly how this cursed point-'n'-click adventure game from the 90s ends, look no further! It might have taken a whopping 26 years to reach the end of this graphically-shoddy, nightmarish ghoul of a game, with clicks of a precision never seen before, but here it is!

Finally, a description of Force Powers! Sorry to delay it by a video, but I felt like learning about the intricacies of the Saber changes in tandem with the Force Power changes was information overload. This episode is where major changes start happening... Force Heal and Force Lightning now unlock in this level, allowing you to have the critical ability to self-heal far sooner.

Bane's levels are definitely my favorite part of the game just because of the VARIETY. Too bad Bane himself is an asshole, heh. Invulnerability frames like crazy, a dumb stalactite carpet bombing attack, and a surprisingly precise window to roll dodge if you play as Robin/Batgirl. Moving right along to Clayface. I used to try and dodge his blade attack, but after discovering the brick wall attack exploit, it's just not worth it anymore. Fun Fact: Did you know Clayface has an attack that activates if you manage to get CLOSER than the brick wall attack trigger? He will spin and basically murder you. Bro I just remastered this game with HD graphics and 60fps on a PS2 emulator and I’m having the time of my life. I love this game and it’s my first time playing it.
Awesome gameplay! I just finished the game on Dark Knight difficulty, after weeks of training. I can only imagine how many hours it took you to reach this level of excellence, this game is a nightmare on Dark Knight.

1:51:23 Chainsaw kick aka the strongest move in the game. 1:52:44 get lost freaky ninja and go kiss the wall ! I don't understand why peoples dislike that game cuz for me this was a part of my childhood. My favorite level is Toxic waste city the penultimate level before clayface (the ost was a true banger for my ears).
How to play all characters with out playing 2 players in this game?
Thanks for doing this, man. This is like Ross' Game Dungeon levels of archeology. I tried to do the same myself with DosBox, but never got to the end (save got reset early on).
I did it for the sake of preserving video game history, haha. How often is a game so awful, it becomes memorable for it? When I was recording, I had a backup save at all times, even at the beginning, out of sheer paranoia. That’s the only reason I was able to record the ending at all.

OpenJKDF2 supports (among other things) 60 fps+, bloom and more advanced colored lighting, and with continual development of your mod, you could perhaps, tweak the looks of blaster fire and lightsabers to be even better, resembling the lighting tech that we had in games like The Phantom Menace (PC version) with intense colored lighting that goes very well with the low poly look of games like Dark Forces 2. Above all, getting your mod to also work with Mysteries of the Sith would be immensely appreciated!
Fun fact: My saber changes are reverse-engineered from SBX. I haven't gotten any of the newer patches to work in Wine, unfortunately. What's worse is that Wine is rubbish on Apple Silicon, which is what my current laptop is. So about that... porting my mod to MoTS is closer to starting from scratch than a simple port, unfortunately. I still want to do it, but it's going to take some time.
Now that the OpenJKDF2 is more advanced in its development, and supports mods, it would be amazing for you to post more videos of your mod running under that source port. The graphical goodies and 60fps+ would be amazing to see with all these gameplay enhancements and tweaks you devised. (Hopefully, we'd see you continue development of your mod 😢😢)

I played dark knight with nightwing and I constantly died and tried to not lose any lives I had cause I knew I needed it at the end with those running guys and healthbar guys.
I always save all my flash bombs for the end haha

I don't think the game was unbalanced. And adding JKO lightsaber combat mechanics kills DFII's the original trilogy based combat that adds to the early stages of The New Republic Era. But what I'm impressed with is how you've managed to make movie-like lightsaber trails.
Well, thanks. That took weeks haha. But, what mechanics from Jedi Outcast did I add? All I did was speed up the animations and gave every attack a sequence if you hold the attack button down, which forward attack has in the base game. The heavy attack is similar to a Saber Kata, I suppose, but it was only because in the base game there's basically no point in using any attacks other than alt-fire and on rare occasions the neutral attack.
@@SAClassHunterZero I think the combat mechanics should be left alone. It's very realistic, demands patience and focus. Just like real swordsmanship. Parry, counter, disengage, attack, parry. Speeding everything kills it. Running around in third person and abusing alt attack in not how this game should be played. It's a cheap way, just like shooting weak stormtroopers with a rocket laucher while an E-11 will do just as well. Sadly a lot of people are lazy and do the exact thing with the lightsaber in this game. That's how we got JKO - to let people keep swinging the lightsaber in every direction until they finally land a hit as blocking system in that game is broken and random. No lightsaber contact, just jumping and swinging until you get a hit. I'm not good at explaining, just visit my channel and pick up any of my DFII vids to get what I'm trying to write.
The grappling hook! Finally it has a use! Dark Knight Bane! I’ll try that. Dark Knight Bane is really messing up my runs
I got stuck on Bane more than any other part of the game other than the final level back in the day.
Trying to beat this on Dark Knight mode and this Bane fight is getting in the way of my runs. I find it easier once he has venom to beat him, but I can’t seem to avoid him at the beginning.
The ninja star and running red claw guys are the WORST. they know how to get you near death.
Yeah, it's mostly cheese and zero fun. The only saving grace I've found is that you can roll *into* the red claw guys if you're feeling brave.
