I too got out of reading as an older teen and started to read again at 23!😂 I am now at 57 books read and loving it, I’m glad you found your way back too

I agree with school making us read but not enforcing the types of books so we would read diary of wimpy kid or Harry Potter and not books with substance. High school book projects were the worst! We all read the same book and we all came to the same conclusion so it didn’t leave room for much discussion. I think that’s why I’m not into reading now as well.
