24fps better for 60hz refresh rate screen while 25fps better for 50hz refresh rate screen.

The video is nonsense. Apart from 3 different frame rates in one video... All 3 videos were taken without ND filters, so the exposure times are very short. The images have absolutely no motion blur, you just have to press pause briefly. This makes the 24 and 25FPS areas in particular look extremely jerky. With the usual rule for exposure, i.e. 1/48, 1/50, 1/60, all 3 videos are smooth, they just have a different look. And theoretically, the 24fps video should come closest to the natural motion blur of the eye. The human eye expects motion blur. Humans cannot perceive movements with absolute sharpness in their natural environment. This is also the reason why 60fps films have an unnatural look, even though they are absolutely fluid. You can follow fast action scenes better, but the brain has problems interpreting them. 30FPS is a good compromise for digital displays. It makes videos slightly fluid, but still has enough leeway for reasonably natural motion blur if the exposure rules are adhered to.

*_Please help..._* I use a Canon DSLR (the Canon 1Dx Mark II) to shoot video. I am in Australia, where we use the PAL system. It runs at 24fps and I use a shutter speed of 1/30th of a second. My videos are outputted (from a Canon .MOV file) to a MP4. The video clips always looks a little choppy from time to time, like some of the frames are missing, resulting in a subtle 'jerky' or dis-jointed look. Is this normal? Should I use a faster shutter speed, like 1/50th? Or a slower one (like 1/25th) to smooth out any jerkiness? Help!
