When Forza Horizon 5 was 1st released I was playing in 4K, 60 fps with ultra/high settings. I remember the *geometric environment* option specifically would add more stuff on the screen the higher you set it.... The console version was on lower settings because it would have less landscapes, items, houses, signs would be missing, less bush/grass density. I've noticed this on other games too. On consoles Performance mode is lower quality but it's the only way console gamers can get inconsistent 60fps. The catch is they strip the graphics to Series S levels. The biggest turn off was the Dynamic Res. Since it can't handle even upscaled 4K, the resolution changes mid game. That's one of the reasons console games look blurrier. Very distracting to change from blurry to clear consistently. I've played a new UE5 unoptomized game "Still wakes the deep" in 4K, 60fps, high/Ultra settings. Keep in mind I'm playing the gamepass version that only has TSR. The console version only reaches 1600p upscaled in Performance mode. Which turns it into the Series S version. PS5 makes the same kind of sacrifices but struggles more with resolution. Most new games are being upscaled from 1080p. All these lies about Consoles not having glitches and such. I played Journey to the Savage Planet recently on PC Gamepass's jank version I compared it to Consoles based on Benchmarks and on consoles it's a stutter, frame dropping mess. With lower quality overall. I watch videos. On PC I have it looking like a next gen makeover running smooth as butter. Consoles have the same issues like tearing, frame drops, pop in etc... only difference is that they can't fix it themselves 🤔"
