Happy floating about, playing in the thermals. Great views over the Dales and enjoyed getting some height. Just over 1,000 metres.

Second flight of the day. Very light so trying to avoid landing at the bottom so scratched along trying to make it back.

Frustrating couple of flights. I had high hopes but got nothing out of it. Anything constructive here what I could have done differently?

Nice day although by the time I arrived, the clouds had gone and the wind had picked up a bit. Still, good experience playing in some thermals trying to get a bit of height.

My POV of flying around Lake Annecy August 2024. I'm a low airtime pilot but blown away by the spectacular landscape and flying conditions there. It is quite beginner friendly as long as you are sensible and check the conditions match your ability.

Overcast, the odd spot of rain but very light and enough, just, to stay up.

Floating about over Tailbridge. Experiencing my first thermals and working out how to handle them. Couple of dodgy top landings but learning loads and slowly getting there.

Another one from the LCC '24 weekend. A bit breezy again and some fun conditions until it just dissappeared and sank back to the camp site.

Coaching day at the LCC 2024. Quite gusty on launch and forecast to increase. Nice play in some thermals and got a bit of height at last.

Between the showers. Early evening just as the wind had dropped a bit.

Walking up Parlick 3 times in one morning. More mistakes but learned loads again.

Cow Close Fell yesterday. Frustrating start sorting lines out. Then had a couple of nice flights but still having a bit of a struggle getting out of the harness for landing. I think it's just a confidence thing.

Parlick, west facing. Nice spring late afternoon after the wind dropped. Chest strap this time but annoyingly in the way. Still a good 1 hour 8 minute flight.
