After a show he did in Minneapolis he stopped in the Radisson South Lunge for drinks, it was Peter the Magic Harmonica dude, and others from the band but not Jay Geils. They were really cool with us at the bar.

Thanks for posting this. Shelby is an outstanding singer-songwriter who's always been vastly underrated, too good to be mainstream. When you hear a song like this stripped down and it still hits you right in the gut, you know it's a real one! This is one of my all time SL favorites.

It's hard to get a decent sound recording from out in the audience. Just too many variables. I absolutely Love this band and the Eddie & The Cruisers 1 & 2. I have most of John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Bands soundtracks. On The Dark Side, NYC Song, and Garden Of Eden songs are my favorites. Michael Pere did a GR8T Job and he can sing as well . The Cruisers band members could seriously play as well, though Maybe not Michael Pere. Either way, J. C. & The B. B. B. Are one of my favorites along withe Cruisers 1 & 2 Movies. My bands & bands that I have played in have covered these tunes over the years. Time Flys By But So Much Musicology That Is Just Timeless . . . Peace & Play On Yaw'll . . . 👍😎🎸🤘🇺🇲🙏 DDH 6-14-2022.

Why Cafferty and his band weren't heard regularly on the radio after the release of "Eddie..." is a mystery to me. John sure has the writing capabilities and the band has been loaded with talent.

I used to see John Eddie at the club Tavern and also High Noon Saloon in Madison Wisconsin excellent performer nice guy
