Starting this review with The End of YoRHa track from NieR Automata automatically earned a like out of me...and I have seen nothing of the review yet.😂 The NieR feels actually suit Evangelion quite well. Okay, now to actually watch this properly.😂

I did manage to Cosplay as Rei black Plugsuit from "Eva 4.0" but I just felt like her demise was rather rushed. Even the long haired Rei in the 2.0 Plugsuit should have had a better explanation as to how that happened.

Only good thing about the Rebuild Asuka were her flashy Plugsuit designs; beyond that she didn’t have much character development along with Mari. I personally felt that the original Asuka had a better story to tell; in fact the Rebuild Asuka had more questions than answers especially at “Eva 4.0”.

The series should have lasted longer, so we could've seen more Evas and their pilots. Also, more angels and possibly demons.

Auska would have still lost the second fight if eva 02 wasn't hit by the spear because we saw that the evas were a lot more natural in their movements after they reactivated and we could see from the fight that the evas had the same physical strength as unit 02. They just weren't working properly

I think Unit 2 Beta had a much cooler name in german, that being Eva 2.1 Fits alot more

Yeah this episode while being filler also established that NERV isn’t good. Nor is it seen as a good thing by the people . Just a necessity .

Just my theory: The spear belongs to Adam and it impaled Eva 02 because the unit is a clone of Adam and needs to be put on a slumber because Lilith is currently the one taking over the planet (and is alive because of Rei). Why didn't the spear impale the Eva Series? Maybe because the Eva Series only has dummy plugs and no real soul. Eva 02 unit and pilot were connected (Asuka and her mother) and 100% activated and so the spear took action. The spear that was used to impale Lilith in Central Dogma came back down from space when Eva 01 was fully activated because of Shinji's intense emotion upon seeing the decimated Eva 02.

But its not a happy ending... it is the bad ending. The end of the series is the good ending.

what Ritsuko did at first is set up a firewall in the MAGI systems. Knowing the angel will hack through, she programmed a counter-hack to accelerate its rapid evolution to its final form thus killing it. I guess the hack she programmed could only compile and deploy by directly hooking into her mothers brain.

i think seele made a replica to trick asuka into believing it was the actual spear, and asuka knows how powerful the spear is so she got scared and her at field lost connection? idk

One of minor crippled MP Eva regened and hurled the spear. Mia missed the first regened MP Eva that threw the spear. Most likely I'll chalk it up to Anno's mental state and messing up the edit and his script.
