Trans people are valid, thank you. There've been lots of trans people who found themselves, transitioned and were better of for it. There are plenty of trans individuals who are secure in their transitions but affected by the outside world's factors, too. This woman could be asset in noting which kind of people shouldn't be affirmed, but she is instead an unproductive transphobe. Pitiful.

How do you know? Many types of followers of Christ are firmly convinced that their view of faith is the only correct one. That people who think they should follow Jesus Christ in a fundamentally different way can never enter heaven. There are hundreds of essentially different ways of believing. This stubborn "my faith is the only sanctifying" group cannot provide convincing evidence for their view. This is true because there are millions of people honestly searching for the best arguments for their belief or disbelief and if there were convincing evidence for a belief there would be no religious disputes. On all the points of contention: -- the role of women, God vs. gays, euthnasia, divorce, abortion, etc., etc. -- there are good sincere and sensible believers who come to opposite answers. Pretending that your opinion is the only one sanctioned by God is self-deception.

This is over 20 years in the making, faithful people have been leaving the churches in droves for over 20 years now. Many have been traumatized by the experience of looking for a faithful church. The best indicator of what a church/pastor supports, is found in the subjects of the books in their library. Always look there first, before trying to build relationships in a church. If you have children, always scope out the church alone before bringing in the family.
