The “Old Catholic Church” is a schismatic sect that does not recognize the legitimacy of the First Vatican Council (which defined papal infallibility). While they celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass, there are many Traditional Latin Mass groups that are in full communion with Rome, such as the FSSP and ICKSP.

There is a possibility that he is a valid bishop from apostolic succession, regardless of his canonical status with Rome. However, his bishopric would be extremely illicit and schismatic.

That is not true for a seminarian collar for a Roman. There is no such thing as a seminarian collar in the Roman Catholic Faith. All the seminarians and priests wear the same collar and cassocks

Typical olde Katholick phonies. Mutt & Jeff. They should take this show on the road. They arent real priests, the scroungy one looks like he just fell off skid row. They dont have any churches, congregations and have never been to any real seminaries. They just like to play church in their homes and have fancy titles and prance around in church robes looking for undeserved respect from people who dont know who they are dealing with. These guys are in every country and have been around for over a hundred years. Its called "the Olde Katholick syndrome" . Very sad. They are social misfits most living on welfare and cant hold a job. Many also have a screw loose and some have criminal records. To say they are delusional is an understatement . Watch out for these scoundrels or your will get taken to the cleaners.

mudgebauer - that’s like saying all police are abusive... Before the 1960’s all Roman Catholic clergy were in seminaries not recognised by qualified authorities as institutions of education. Our family has been attached to the Old Catholic Church for three generations, some of our clergy are not seminary trained but have the best pastoral experience a seminary could never teach about. You’re a dangerous soul if you think there is no valid ministry here - God’s Works are beyond your limited vision.
