I’m just learning of my friends passing, and in total shock. I recognise the man the good people here share their memories of; a wonderful spirit, dedicated to his family & to God, who put everything he had into everything he did. We became good friends as he joined our team at Shell in Brunei. His depth of spirituality was eminently deeper than my own, but we shared stories of our journeys, and we became something of a faithful sounding board for each other in an environment where you could not be as free about your beliefs. In that regard, I remember well the day he shared that he was considering leaving Shell to pursue his dream of becoming a minister. We talked and prayed on it over the next weeks in the office; it was glorious to see that excitement, while recognising the uncertainty that lay ahead, and it was with a mixture of joy and sadness that we said farewell when the time came for him to leave. We sadly lost touch in the years since, but my wife and I would always reflect on his name with happiness & respect when we considered the good people we knew in Brunei. I am saddened to learn that he has passed on, but I am comforted that he fulfilled his calling - well enough to have been called home early (at least too early for us). I am thankful to God for directing our paths to cross, & I pray for His eternal peace over Leonard, & for Joanna & his children to be comforted in their moments of sadness. We will never forget you brother. Thank you for recording the service.

Rest in peace in heaven.

Farewell to Chuka! That day we walked out together from Kelleha's office as advisees was it. We whiled some time sharring notes of life. Forward from thence we walked some paths. Good and bad, rise and rough, you were strong at all. Devoted to serve, you even watched our back beyond your dance. Last we saw, Sulurele in Lagos. The last mails we shared, from Aberdeen you wrote; your wife and kids, you were all in smile. Happy to know that you took to God. In service and faith you gave Him all. To God indeed be all Glory. Farewell Bro, see you in heaven!
