Watched all your vids today, brakes between my whole house clean or at least 75% of it and it sparkes joy❤ Done a super detailed clean, been over under on top done baseboards, wall, doors. Since ive been in the professional cleaning, i clean alittle everyday, almost like the flylady😊

Always mop before mopping, otherwise the mop will fill up with lose dirt and that will be found in the corners😊

Hi Kate. Have you checked that there's not something caught in the filter of the washing machine? if you don't know where to check it, there's some great youtube videos explaining where to find it and clear. I thought my washing machine was broken till my son showed me!

We can now get the pink stuff in Canada so I’m figuring out what else I can use it on. I use a wee dollop of Vim to clean my tea stained cups.

I vacuumed up broken glass today but my vacuum just blocked up and i now dont know what to do😂😂😂 Tips are welcome❤❤

Kate, from one Kate to another, I think your videos are fabulous. I am very grateful to you for sharing your home and your routine. I appreciate the difference we all have and it is how we learn from one another. It would be formulaic and boring if we were in a structured routine. I am the same. The work gets done and I can;t work like others we are all human. What's so positive is your down to earth approach. I think you are doing a marvellous job. I know what you mean about Christmas anxiety. We have decided to keep cooking, baking, buying and decorating just fun but simple. No excess. I was in tears last year because my pastry wouldn't work. This year I just went to Waitrose and bought mince pies. I have bought a few gifts now and again but no big shopping expeditions - too stressful! One of our local Tescos has a Christmas tree next to Customer services. It is covered in hanging gift tags from the residential care homes in town. Each tag gives name, age and gift idea 'Edna, 92, would like some hand cream'. So i buy, take home wrap and attach the tag and hand it back to their trolley in Customer Services next time I am doing the shopping. That reminded me of what Christmas is about and I thought it was a nice simple idea and helped me look forward to Christmas and kept me calm. You deserve a lovely Christmas after your year of home transformation. Just remind yourself of the small simple things that make Christmas special to take your mind off the anxiety.

Kate you could try a diluted bleach solution on your marble for that stain. It works really well on mine. Try a tiny patch first somewhere inconspicuous if you're worried about using it xx

Yes Kate Hetty sounds a bit tired maybe give her a break for a while and Henry X-Large and clean the white filter a clean then Hetty might sound better but she is 10 years old because it’s a 2015 or 2016 model hope you found the tip helpful I’m loving the cleaning videos

You should get an ADHD assessment or lay off the caffeine. There’s more going on than a “work in progress” at 60 blah blah. At Gardener’s Cottage you are seen walking confusedly across the lawn, you pick up an item, walk five steps and drop it again. Something is going on. Still aren’t using the dishwashers, walking 100 steps to put a single spoon away, relying on caffeine etc. it’s not good!

Please explain why, if you have a stunning kitchen with custom cabinets, a copper trough sink and marble countertops, why oh why do you scramble round that ugly little dark, disjointed and disorganized scullery kitchen?!?!?

This week we are decorating for Christmas, Wednesday and Thursday the whole house will light up. We have lights in every window, Christmas decorations everywhere. So I clean and my partner decorates after me. Then in January we do it the other way around, so don't dust much in December 😅, more or less only floors😊

Vacuuming is a good workout well done x

Morning Kate, I like doing an evening tidy up, I get restless if I sit to long and bored!! I'm a yoga teacher so I'm up early in morning I have an early class 3 times a wk, also are you having protein shakes? When you get that 3.00 sluggish but don't want to eat , shakes are quite good.. have a lovely day. ❤

I worked yesterday and did all my Monday chores in the evening too I felt pleasantly tired at the end of it and slept well xx

Hello busy lady.😂 im copying you.... i decided to treat myself to a new washing up bowl. A stainless one!! Like you have. I didnt know you could get them till i saw yours. Ive had the idea that ill be more hygenic as it wont have the curled plastic lip at the top where the ge4ms can hide and hopefully itll be more stuurdy to stand up against sharp knives which ruin plastic bowls in no time. Xxx

Hello Kate, I discovered you about a week ago, I LOVE your house and the way you have decorated it, especially the old part. Really enjoy your chatter and following you around cleaning and sorting stuff, I'm then inspired to get on with a few jobs tho it's tempting to just watch you! I live in an old farmhouse in Cornwall on our working dairy farm so am used to old windows, draughts, dirt and clearing surfaces! We have five cats at the moment, two long haired and one very elderly to add to the chores. Thanks for sharing your lovely home 😊❤xx
