      I hate to admit it but i just got some turbo 77's and they get hot after like 5min near the grip area which is essentially an outlaw just black chrome and black rubber. Honestly my Wahl seniors have more umph to them but those bastards get got too 😆 Next to the Old school Lucky Dog Fast Feed body detachable clippers or Oster 616 detachable clipper which are just phenomenal. This corded Outlaw/Turbo77 Ergonomically hands down it's the best detachable clipper after those few i mentioned. Corded!!!

      @heavyarms39 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are for professionals, the reason they snag is because you could be going too fast, these blades have fine teeth so they don’t pick up a lot of hair OR you may not be angling them correctly

    Very helpful! I've been looking into a new head shaving device as blades (even DE) and foils give me terrible bumps. Every review I read or watch about the balding clippers keep telling me it's the closest non-blade or foil shave one can get. Cheers from another Central FL guy!

      If I may ask how are they working for you now. What is your post shave routine?

    • @ianmuessig
      @ianmuessig 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@littlemrl5539 As a whole they work really well if you are looking for the closest possible buzz cut without using a blade or some kind of 'shaver' (electric foil or rotary for example). They are very heavy in the hand vs 'normal' clippers and it can be difficult to use for a daily buzz. I ended up sending mine back because they kept tripping my gfci outlet (new outlet, nothing else I plug into it gives me issues), same thing happened with my wahl peanut. For some reason the pro level wahl products have a larger cord and plug that blows my outlets. I ultimately ended up keeping a cheap kemei zero gapped cordless trimmer I got for about $20. It cuts just as close, is much easier to use, and is cordless. Ultimately I find the 'peachfuzz' annoying and end up finishing with a foil shaver.

    I always wrap my cord around the clipper itself when I’m done for storage till I shave my head the next time. It gets horrible kinks in it , could that possibly effect the strength of power ? I feel like it’s losing some power and I’ve only had it 6 months . If so is there a better way to store it ?

      TheWetShavingBarber Cadence is a rhythm that repeats itself throughout your presentation. A lot of folk mentioned you had a nice voice. That is a gift from God (seriously). Cadence is a learned skill. You find it in good music, good reads, and good oration. Try scripting your message. Your first few sentences had a cadence but after you said you were new to the game it went away. Yes, I agree with everyone about your voice. As a consultant I earn $200 per hour for the kind of advice I am offering for free. Looking forward to hearing some more from you.

    Great run down of detachable blade options. I have invested in a complete set of Oster detachable blades, including a flattop blade. Coupled with an Oster Titan and Model 10, this is a pretty expensive system designed to last and the results are very good. Nice smooth haircutting. I find detachable blades are durable, quickly attachable/detachable well performing blades. They do need a little loving. I deal with a very good blade technician who sharpens and adjust my blades on regularly. The secret weapon is the 1A and the 0A blades. Just the right difference in depth to get that taper or fade nice and smooth.
