Norway sent 22 to Ukraine. The designation is M109A3GN for the norwegian vehicles.

In 2019/2020 Norway replaced M109 with K8 Thunder (VIDAR) from South Korea. M109 was put in stores, but after russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 they were sent to Ukraina. They are in extensive use and some parts are already hard to replace.

Delusional sales pitch. The Patriot system is anything but effective and massively over-hyped and overpriced. In times of hypersonic missiles, this system is little more than expensive junk. The Russians have destroyed virtually every Patriot battery sold or donated to Ukraine as soon as it comes close enough to the line of contact to be targeted. They now have to hide, whatever they have left in the rear to avoid losing every single one of them. Furthermore, the missiles for these systems are in short supply. With a production capacity of +/- 500 missiles/year and the seemingly impossibility to ramp up production to any significance , any buyer of these system risks to run out of missiles at the time that he needs them most. Finally, who wants to be depending on US when they have clearly demonstrated that they will abuse their power whenever it fits their purpose.
