@@ashram_bk I'd still recommend backing up your save file just in case - what if a glitch happens (very rare) but it is a possibility

I did switch to Russian during the play through. Igor sounded very weird, not his actual voice but more his recording, he sounded like he was in a booth. Looked it up and the English (with British accent Igor) was the intended VO, the other characters even give him a hard time because of his accent. The Russian voices was added because it was requested. Thanks for commenting

I tried playing my 2nd playthrough in English but the first with Russian voice overs, did not like English as much but I think that is just because I had already experienced the game so playing it again with a different language made it feel dubbed. So I guess going with English first then switching to Russian has the same effect in opposite direction, making the Russian voice overs sound dubbed.

Honestly I had more fun with survival, but the tech issues, especially getting stuck trying to interact with something like a terminal and having to reload to a save from when you lasted rested was too much and happened too often

Unfortunately stealth doesn’t help with the game’s ambush mechanics where the mobs just spawn behind you no matter what you do. Thanks for the comment

lol is that all I need? I honestly have no idea what any of that is and I wouldn’t even want to look up any of that on my first play through. I’ll probably try survival again after playing a bit on normal, maybe even after finishing it for the first time. Thanks for the comment

@@ashram_bk deliverer is best 10mm pistol in game and ballestic weave unlocks the best armor in the game, both you can get from quests with the railroad faction. overseer;s guardian is best rifle in the base game, from vault 81. once you get with brotherhood of steel u can get them to fly you anywhere in the map with their vetribird helecoptors. instead of walking.

I think I checked for that, but it needs the weaponsmith perk I think & I don’t have that, until I can pick that up I’ll have to rely on RNG to find it

Yeah there’s a lot that I like about survival, but at the same time there’s more that just just broken about it, definitely not recommended for a first play through, thanks for the comment!

It is a bit harder. And it's interesting generally. BUT. It's so annoying - you really need a lot of time for it. So if you looking just for entertainig in game it's not for you.

Yes this is my first play through, came into it pretty much with no knowledge about the game except that I played 3 and NV many years ago

Yeah still playing on normal. Found another issue with survival, sometimes trying to interact with an object like a terminal or even power armor will get the character stuck and in survival there’s no terminal to “tcl” so a lot of progress can be lost even without a death. Had that happen several times in survival and even more after changing back to normal

Yeah I painfully came to the same conclusion that survival was not balanced let alone for a first play through. I could mod in the survival mechanics I do like, but then achievements would be turned off, but I could mod that as well, decided to just do a vanilla play through for first time and if I like it enough I’ll start modding it.
