Beautiful videos! Can you please do another night one of the city on the night of the stadium opening (Feb 29) I would love to see it all lit up, full and colour full, another one taken on the night of the first cowboys game would be good too! I know you probably only do these videos for clients but please take some more night ones when you can they are so good and probably the highest quality videos I have seen of Townsville (especially at night to date)
Many thanks Nick, will see how we go on opening night, with an opening as big as this new stadium airspace may be closed to all but manned aircraft eg news choppers etc Almost every video on my channel I’ve done to increase my channel content thus haven’t made a cent on any of it. One thing I’ve learnt in 4 yrs of Townsville region drone business is everyone wants something for nothing which unfortunately doesn’t pay the bills or buy new aircraft or casa and insurance fees There will be plenty of photography and videography captured from top of nearby buildings on opening night however only aerial cameras will be able to capture it all with city in background from old qr yards side so see how we go with sector approval 👍🏻
@@visualptyltddroneservices4568 well I hope you can get approval! yes everyone does want something for nothing but I guess its up to business to see value in the products, maybe approach some businesses directly about doing videos, I am positive a lot of businesses wouldn't even know about drones still so hopefully with some more on the ground promotion you will get more actual paying customers, I think it would be good if the city council or tourism queensland paid you to do some promotional videos for the city for TV broadcast, you see tonnes of drone footage of major global cities but not much for regional cities so to have more footage of Townsville could only be a bonus!
and I do hope you are right and there is plenty of coverage on the night but sometimes I am quite dissapointed especially in our national broadcasters, they show nice aerial shots of the capitals but here they show you the ground, the game and pretty much nothing else. So I hope this time is different and the videography and photography community is out in full force for both Feb 27-29 leading up to Elton John and the first Cowboys Game :)

Used to jump off that old bridge back in early 70’s into the big holes on the upside of the river when it was about that level. Back then the sleepers and rails were still there as well as the ramps on both ends. First jump was bloody scary
Nice footage. That is a hellava lot of water! Recently I was down on the sandy riverbed just below that bridge. The riverbed is huge ..... it’s wide and deep. I was wondering about how much water must come down the river when in flood......and there it is! Just heard on the news that this bridge is about to go under..... would love to see that too.
