It actually works really well! I use it with the Glide Gear TMP100 teleprompter and software called Duet. Duet has “teleprompter mode” and it makes the iPad another screen that projects onto the teleprompter.

@@Dealcasters nice , I have the TMP as well but my old iPad had issues with hearing my voice on time with delays and stuff so I’ve been putting off buying a new one and worried it may still do it lol. So was debating this or iPad 10. But I’d rather go with iPad 9 to save money

yes, just make sure to avoid clipping that you adjust gain back on the neve before you engage the preamp in the mic, then dial it in to your preferred gain level.

@@Dealcasters i have bought shure sm7db , i have a clone of U87 but works harsh and bad with high end. Do you think sm7b could be good for songs

A lot depends on what you are using the mic for, but the U87 is a condenser mic, very nice but is a different sound. The SM7db is a dynamic mic and much warmer sounding. Many songs are recorded with it, so let us know how it works out for you!

Your quality is already great with the Scarlett and Cloudlifter and the SM7B. This would essentially replace your Scarlett as an interface, and while it would definitely take up less space in your studio or desk - you likely won't notice a difference in your sound quality. The Focusrite preamps are great, especially when you pair it with a Cloudlifter! Does that help you?

This was made specifically for the new iPad. They may have others that will work with the older iPads. The new iPad has a USB C connector not lightning cable

Do you mean seeing a screenshot of importing the interface into something like Logic Pro or something? It acts just like any other sound interface.

@@Dealcasters Oh cool, but to adjust the gain or audio level feeding into the track being recorded inside of Logic or any DAW would be controlled through the DAW or through the Shure GUI that you showed us?

I prefer the SM7B with the Cloudlifter CL-1. However, if I didn't already have the SM7B - I would start with the SM7DB. Does that help you?

@@newpannam no, the sound is pretty much equal. I like one more than the other some days, and then change my mind - it's so close. I already had the SM7B and Cloudlifter set up, so it is what I keep.

But I don't want to sell them. I love both of them! hahaha in that case I would keep the SM7DB because I would have less cables and the Cloudlifter is already built in. That's how much I like both.

Since you already have the SM7B, and if the additional XLR cable is not an issue for you, then getting a CL-1 and cable with your SM7B would give you the same sound as an SM7DB. Both options are great and almost identical in our testing.

@RiantoEffendi it is so very close. It truly depends on your voice. For me, I prefer the SM7b with CL-1, but do use both.

Dan, I don't work for Elgato, that is a good question. I went with the bigger screen since it gave me more flexibility with what I am trying to do with a green screen.

@@Dealcasters thanks. I actually watched a few videos and, even though none of them said so, I'm pretty sure it's more expensive because of the mechanism that holds up the screen itself. The smaller one has hydraulics and multiple bars that hold it in place and don't require the step of pulling out a single pole and extending it. The smaller one you just open the top and pull it up and it stays in place.

Officially, the MVX2U is designed for use with laptops and desktop computers. We've heard that some have been able to connect an XLR mic with this and an iPhone 15, but you won't be able to use the Motiv software for it. Thanks for watching!

According to LandAirSea, they use Global GNSS (100 satellites) across North America, Asia, & Europe for pinpoint accuracy at all times.

The DB has the same Cloud CL-1 circuit built into it - so it's unnecessary, but it is exactly the same if you turned the preamp off on the DB and put the CL-1 into the chain with it. Does that help you? Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for the kind words! The difference is so small, honestly - if you don't have either, and want to get one - than the DB. It's a simpler setup and sounds amazing. If you already have the B - just make sure you have a CL-1 in the chain. It really just comes down to your particular voice. It will add a more full, deep, broadcast-sound to it.

The SM7DB is a better podcast mic for sure, especially in rooms that aren't well treated. It also does great for vocals (singing, etc) - but is different sounding (warmer/boomier). It has a built-in preamp so the noise floor is low when you increase the gain and you get far less of the room noise which is super important for podcasts and making thinner voices sound more full. But if you want to use a mic that can be used in both home studio and performance situations - the Nexadyne is a great option as not only looks great as a performance vocal mic in addition to killing all the mic bleed you may get onstage. You can hear in the video that the Nexadyne has more clarity, so you may want to treat your home studio somewhat to avoid any unwanted reverb from the room. Does this help you?

Super helpful, definitely want to get the SM7dB at some point because of its versatility. The Nexadyne 8/s is checking off a lot of boxes at the moment due to needing a microphone that will cut through the stage bleed and add mid/highs to a voice is that is already warm. I’m also thinking it’s off axis reduction of noise will be helpful ro record vocals in a room that has not been professionally treated. It would be nice to buy a condenser microphone but it’s been suggested to me they only be used in professionally treated rooms. Gonna bite the bullet and give it a try🙏

Will it work for games?

@@Dealcasters is there palm rejection on the track pad when typing?

@@herecomessubking3104 it does have the mouse pad, much like a MacBook, but depending on how you like to play games, not sure if I would say it is the best fit for that. The kickstand does allow you to have the screen upright so you do have that for game playing by touching the screen.

@@Ciangi87 it will pull up the mouse pointer when typing, but you also have to click the track pad for the mouse to work. I type in a way that my hand is not on the mouse pad and found it took effort to have both going on at the same time.
