I keep seeing this record player at walmart and it keeps tempting me. Audio Technica is one of the last few good turntable manufacturers. Crosley and Victrola just sell nostalgia junk. But I've already got so many CDs and record collecting is stupid expensive.

The switch is for stereo output to a receiver that has either phono or line input. Many older stereo receivers have phono input that provides more amplification for the low output from the phono signal. This turntable has a built in amplifier that brings the signal to a higher line level output if the stereo receiver or speakers do not have phono input.

If ima be 100% honest this guy is super underrated. I love how he listens to modern artists unlike 99.999999% of other audiophiles and this video was super entertaining. Also the intro was very goofy and funny.
The vinyl sounds better with the lid off or upright while playing. I would say the lid off is better
I would say the lid should be closed while playing to protect the record from any dust floating around.

Hm. I thought it was a repacked lp60 because of the large logo on the felt mat. Which was used on later designs for the lp60
@@KxshouTOtW I'm hearing that it''s a LP60XBT. Just repackaged as a LPGOBT. Also that the LP60 had a big overhaul now, so it's def not the LP60, but the LP60X but with Bluetooth.
@@nomohd My cousin Kechette got her Audio Technica LP60XBT in the mail today it’s her Christmas present from me I ordered it for her from Target online. It’s not the one shown in this video it’s the black one that the LP60X with Bluetooth and I ordered a Bluetooth speaker for her to pair with it. When she came over to my house for Thanksgiving we started talking about artists and albums we love and she told me she wanted a record player so I ordered it for her
