They have a good selection of scales that can be decently priced and that's what I mainly look for when I take a trip there since prize figures I always end up with too many from playing crane games. I was just there last week and picked up the Shibuya scramble albedo swimsuit version for ~21600 after tax free it's crazy. I also saw a Shibuya scramble demon rem for ~26200 after tax free.

What you got her for only 21k?!? Damn that’s a great bargain! She’s gorgeous, how did you get her home btw? I think the box was pretty large ! +1 I don’t collect prize figures unless I get them from cranes

@@otakuoverlordx My luggage suitcase was massive but it was able to fit. I had to put the box towards the middle of the luggage and put my clothes and stuff around it since the box would be the tallest part, which lets the cover kind of wrap around the box easier. My friend ended up buying the demon rem but that box was even bigger so it didn't fit in his luggage. He had to check it into checked luggage. It seems to have gone through fine.

@ ahhhh the middle of the suitcase makes sense! Need to keep that in mind! Btw I had the same issue with the estream Demon Rem (bought it from Hong Kong) and I had to check it in, went through ok too

Great choice! It’s all about the face and details, I really like her pose on the broom and looking closely even the toy at the end of the stick has a lot of attention. I like the squares behind her head though not sure what they are lol

Yeh I do wonder, could dig deep into the issue but I have a sad feeling it might lead to cheap labour in Asia… that being said I think the advancement in 3D printing might mean more of these will be done by machines, which could mean lower prices (but also loss of jobs for painters)

@otakuoverlordx I mean, the loss of jobs for painters might be a bit strong, because yes, I am lucky that I am already returning customers. So I would say it will get harder to get into the commission business when you can already get good figurines for 200€. So like any business you have to get good and need the skills to get like anything to live in this case.

@@kwk9415 I see and totally agree! It'll be harder to get into the industry which means less artists and creativity overall. Are you a painter?

Well, at some point in my life, I really want to be a full-time painter, but currently, it is a side job where I am about 50 sold 1/8 Sclae figurines deep with 2 years of experience. But jeah, my main job is a classic IT lead as an ex furry, so fully in the stereotype.

@@otakuoverlordx well in Spain there is shop called global freaks, it’s online shop as well. And overall small anime shops can have good sales on their figures.

I recommend to checkout the Mandarake shops in Nakano Broadway, they definitely have a lot more older retro stuff. Very nostalgic!
