Nooh a.s. lived for at least 950 years. Musa a.s. lived 500 years if i'm not wrong, Adam a.s. lived more than 1000 years. You don't know how long people lived back then when this story took place. We are the last ummah, and i read somewhere that till the day of judgement lifespan of people will be decreasing, also i read somewhere that people will be getting smaller in size till the day of Judgement, which is happening rn, you can clearly see today young people are smaller than young people of 1980s for example.

Firstly, we are not allowed to question the Qadar of Allāh; rather, we should say, "Qadar Allāh wa ma sha'a fa3aal" as we were instructed in our religion. Secondly, it's as clear as day that this was never even an option; not at any point of the story.
