    Newsom does NOT wants to really solve the homeless problem. He gives contracts to build for the homeless n they kickback millions to his campaign. If he solved the homeless problem his campaign funds would stop! He just bought an 11 million dollar house, gated of course. He’s immune to the problems we face.

    If you like houses that on average are 2-4 million dollars and a trailer park mentality you'll love the SFV. Woodland Hills (Ground Zero) Understand that "Go Back to the Valley kook!" & "Go home Val!" Have been around in the rest of the state for decades now for a reason. Nobody in the rest of California wants these people in their towns because we all know the mentality that comes with the SFV people and they are so easy to identify. Go spend a day in South Pasadena then spend a day in Woodland Hills as the property values and costs are very similar. When you finish tell me exactly why you would ever want to live in the SFV.

    • @livinginlosangelescaliforn353
      @livinginlosangelescaliforn353 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The adjacent park to where the Culver City stairs should have plenty of parking. It shouldn't be too hard to find parking for the stairs. Downtown Culver City is a different story. Harder to find parking, especially during peak hours in the evening on the weekends

  • @lvckyducky

    Where do people park in the downtown culver area?

    • @livinginlosangelescaliforn353
      @livinginlosangelescaliforn353 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are several parking lots throughout downtown Culver City although they are mostly fee based lots. There is some street parking, but it's pretty hard to find. Many people park in the Palms Neighborhood across Venice Blvd, but it is also challenging to find parking there as well. It's pretty parking impacted. The residential neighborhoods adjacent to Culver City have restrictions unless you park several blocks away. You can also park at the Culver Center and walk a few blocks. It's a long winded answer to say that parking can be challenging.

    Born and living in the UK for all my life, watching US TV shows specifically filmed in California, it always seemed glamorous someone living under ‘grey’ skies all their life.. so that was my reason for being interested, but more specifically Southern California not so much LA as that was always represented as ‘troubled’ on TV shows. 😊

    I think Beverly Hills is way more overrated than DTLA. DTLA at least has plenty of activities for the average person (like grand central market, little Tokyo, the broad, ect.). Beverly Hills is a plastic soulless shopping mall of a neighborhood. DTLA is not the greatest neighborhood in LA, but it is an area I visit as a local for the variety of attractions it has to offer. It is true that LA is more than it’s downtown and there’s plenty to see beyond it, but I also think DTLA has more to offer than most other neighborhoods in LA.

    • @livinginlosangelescaliforn353
      @livinginlosangelescaliforn353 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I appreciate your perspective on this. I do agree that Beverly Hills can be overrated. DT Los Angeles is certainly growing in popularity and attracting more people to the city center; however, there has also been some recent struggles and stagnation with that as well. With Los Angeles being so sprawled out, I think many Los Angelinos don't make DTLA a destination.

    Moved to Los Angeles 34 years ago. There is no perfect place and just take the good with the bad and so far the good outweighs the bad for us. House paid off, retired and kids are on their own, so our living expenses are drastically reduced.
