Most cities in the UK we do not give Ghusal for covid 19 patients. Its too dangerous. Additionally some cities have too many bodies now. th-cam.com/video/0kguT8jKiks/w-d-xo.html This is what they do in Malaysia th-cam.com/video/P20ISOd9N9U/w-d-xo.html And the US th-cam.com/video/L-UVUb08_xg/w-d-xo.html Allah's Apostle said, "Five are regarded as martyrs: They are those who die because of plague, abdominal disease, drowning or a falling building etc., and the martyrs in Allah's cause." Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 2829 The Prophet collected every two martyrs of Uhud in one piece of cloth, then he would ask, "Which of them had (knew) more of the Quran?" When one of them was pointed out for him, he would put that one first in the grave and say, "I will be a witness on these on the Day of Resurrection." He ordered them to be buried with their blood on their bodies and they were neither washed nor was a funeral prayer offered for them. The above hadith is in a few places including in Sahih al-Bukhari Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: Martyrs and who died of plague will come (on judgement day). The ones who died of plague will say: We are the martyrs. Then it will be said: See if their wounds look like those of the martyrs bleeding and smelling as musk, they are (really) martyrs. They will prove so upon smelling. (This Hadith is good and reported by Ahmad in his Musnad). Hadith No: 98 From: 110 Hadith Qudsi. Chapter 1, 110 Ahadith Qudsi (Sacred Hadith) Narrated/Authority of Utba Ibn Abd As-Salami ahadith.co.uk/110ahadithqudsi.php?cid=144 knowingallah.com/en/articles/the-plague-reward th-cam.com/video/EBSiysEw2Sw/w-d-xo.html It is extremly dangerous giving ghusal but if you have no choice you need a special facility per city for this. Have gas masks and water proof suits like the Italian hospitals. Only trained and licensed funeral directors should do this with the right facilities and protective equipment. th-cam.com/video/xpwI_MkbD6o/w-d-xo.html Covid 19 will spread in the masjid if you give ghusal to the bodies in a masjid. The COVID-19 virus is approximately 0.125 Micron or 125 nanometers in diameter. It gets into the grout in between the tiles and in the droplets in the air and travels through air conditioning. www.vaniman.com/do-hepa-air-purifiers-filter-out-the-covid-19-virus/ You need proper gas masks where the gas mask filters need to be fine enough to stop 0.125 microns. And you need water proof suits like the Italian hospital in the link below: th-cam.com/video/xpwI_MkbD6o/w-d-xo.html It needs to be away from the masjid. I am not an expert but you may need to get a refrigerated meat lorry container where the inside is waterproof, smooth and easy to clean with soap and water. (Or build a special room with water proof surfaces, e.g. safety flooring on concrete). Have a special wide stainless steel bath in the container with a see through plastic covering with plastic gloves in it, where the waiste water is collected in a bucket at the bottom and disinfected and disposed of properly. Everything should be easy to wash down. Talk to infectious deseases specialists and doctors for advice. Be careful to make sure all the vapour is contained and does not spread. And you need to set this up away from the masjid or any other building. Or else the virus will go through the air conditioning and into the carpets into the rest of the building and spread to everyone and you will never be able to get it out of the carpets and the building. People will visit the masjid and it will spread through out the city. 10% of the patients in intensive care are medical staff. The more people you come in contact with covid 19 the more likely you are die. Whole hospitals are getting infected. Look at the video above. th-cam.com/video/0kguT8jKiks/w-d-xo.html The infectious deseases wards here in the UK are were very impressive. The air conditioning and heating in the glass cubical rooms where the infectious deseases patients are kept are sepourate from the rest of the building. The wards where these glass rooms existed are also sepourate from the rest of the hospital. The air does not mix and they use filters. The water supplies and drainage is sepourate. One mistake and it could spread and hundreds of people could get infected. It spreads through out the hospital very quickly and that is why covid 19 specific hospitals are now being built, that are dedicated to covid-19. When there is an epademic, funerals allow people to meet. Read this article from the WHO website about the spread of Ebola (this traditional healer whose funeral they attended was a Muslim thousands of people died because of this funeral):" www.who.int/csr/disease/ebola/ebola-6-months/sierra-leone/en/ It says" a quick investigations by local health authorities suggested that participation in that funeral could be linked to as many as 365 Ebola deaths. Meanwhile in Guinea, 60% of all cases had been linked to traditional burial practices." They then passed it on. Later people stopped gathering at funerals and giving Ghusal and ebola was brought under control In Iran it also spread like this I think N95 masks are not as protective as the gas masks but if you run out of mask altogether may be people in the local community could build masks like these: th-cam.com/video/W6d3twpHwis/w-d-xo.html text.npr.org/s.php?sId=814929294 I just talked to one of the Muslim in the hospital chaplaincy service in a hospital in the UK and she said that the bodies are wiped down with wet cloths before being enclosed in the body bag. She said that it is not flowing water, like for ghusal. She said that you need proper facilities and protective equipment and training, because of the risk of infection. She said that the funeral directors in the UK have the training and the right protective equipment and the licences to handle infectious bodies. She said that the body bags should not be opened in a masjid because the risk of infection to the rest of the building is too great. Special facilities designed to handle infections bodies in a building away from a masjid should be used so that it does not infect the masjid. (Some body bags have "do not open" sign on them, do not open them) Look on these sites www.britishima.org/covid/ mcb.org.uk mcb.org.uk/mcb-updates/coronavirus-guidance-for-mosques-and-madrassas/
