0:46 what I did. Take a 1 gal ziploc bag..flip inside out..put hand inside..grab handful of fluid flim. remove hand, flipping inside out as you go (most difficult part). Now fluid film is inside bag..cut off corner..squeeze out lile cake icing.

the best way of filling a container with the Fluid film is by cutting the bottom of a 2ltr soda and pour from the gallon Fluid Film container and use it like a funnel, like in my case I need to help it a little with a paint stick... cos my garage is cold. Another thing is if I want to make the layer thinner.. or get the moist out of the Fluid Film after spray then use heat gun to warm up the surface to really get it to penetrate quickly. I am using a pressure can but at times I would love to have a sprayer like this, thx

I got a Crosstrek 18, Limited and it started doing that at 70k. People suggested changing the PVC valve so I did and the issue went way but only for a day. Next, I replaced the spark plugs and the issue went away again for a couple days. Warranty is expiring soon and I’m not sure what to do next.

Testing for blow by at idle like that is a waste of time, at idle the rings do a pritty shitty job, hold it upto 1200 revs and it will go away. Mine does exactly the same, along with pritty much every single turbo diesel on the plannet. All diesels will have blow by at idle, its the biggest reason the oil is contaminated with fuel and soot

Well I know my Wagner Power Pro will work for Fluid Film. Just gotta see if it’ll work for Cosmoline.

So I used a newer type sprayer that holds 40ounces and I used mineral oil and did two cars with one container.I paid 23 dollars for a gallon of this stuff .I havent used this before so time will tell but it went great!!.No smell no color and it costs alot less.

Can you adjust the spray or is it just one pattern?.

Wow I did the aerosol cans version I have two SUVs and did a pretty good job with 2to 3 cans per SUV. They are 12 ounce cans so 24to36 ounces does the job per car for me.The cost is 55.00 for both cars.

I would put the whole can in a 5 gal pail of very hot water to soften it up.

I did see another video where a guy primed and painted a Honda Civic with the same exact HF gun. It produced a mediocre paint job, but still did the job. However, he said it gradually becomes weaker the more you use it, and after a few coats the gun completely died.

That's nothing. If your PCV was bad, smoke would be thicker and consistent while the engine was running. Next time, smell the smoke. Sweet is coolant, and you'd know if it was oil. White smoke can also be condensation.

My fiat does not do this and i open oil cap no smoke or oil good car

How did Subaru treat you during this process? I’ve read verified reports that Subaru is dismissive, defiant, uncooperative, etc. Then I’ve read comments like yours where it appears they seemed helpful. Did they provide a loaner?

My Impreza did that randomly it was a 20/20 I assumed it may have been caused by a bad tank of gas interesting to see other people with the problem I have a brand new Crosstrek and it seems right away at startup sometimes to have that issue but it is cold out now so I guess it could still just be regular warm up condensation but strange that a lot of people have this random effect my guess is it has something to do with the very thin viscosity of the oil being used anymore

The snow goes right up over the fence in our yard and the snow in the street is still even with everyone's yards

I'll be trying this over the weekend here, picked up a gallon of black for $55 and the gun is now $40, but still cheaper than having it done!
