@stephencarmody5375 It's cool that you know this much about Gen 1. Your teaching me things I never knew or experienced, really.

@@Therealpokerus Mostly learned from watching other Pokémon TH-camrs, especially Scott's Thoughts! Another one was, when you used Double Kick on Articuno and it said it was Super Effective, it wasn't, it was neutrally effective. The game just needs to display a message there, for type effectiveness, and I am not sure the reasoning behind which it chooses for super or not very effective, perhaps it's the first of the Pokémon's dual typing.

@@Therealpokerus Haha I was thinking that when you were talking about, like you were remembering "oh yeah, this Mon is damn good!" Dupes with the Nidoking was a kick in the nuts. STAB Earthquake would have been incredible.

@@stephencarmody5375 Hey so be honest. What do you think about the stuff im adding to the video? as far as badges and saying what kinda run it is and the death counter?

@@Therealpokerus I think they are very good additions, and the next logical step to improving the overall production and quality of your videos, and hopefully in turn, your channel. I am sure more things will come to mind to add, and some may be hit or miss. My advice would be, don't rush it, don't get bogged down on stuff like that, they will come naturally as you think of them. Just keep doing what you are doing. I am enjoying the videos and will continue to watch. But then, I am a big Pokémon nerd, particularly for Gen 1 as it hits that nostalgia. The random aspect is what makes it really interesting. Definitely think the decisions you made to increase difficulty and randomise movesets was a good idea. You absolutely swept the Elite 4 last time! Even Agatha's Ace will be Level 90 this time around! If you wanted to look at some other guys who do this stuff, I would recommend Scott's Thoughts. He is great, and if you watch his stuff from the start, you can really see the evolution of his videos into what they are now. I know JRose is the big one, but I personally much prefer Scott's Thoughts.

@stephencarmody5375 thanks for the advice. I appreciate that alot. I have more ideas but I'm just starting to get into trying to up the quality. I'm sure it will come with time and I'll definitely check out Scott's thoughts. I've definitely seen Jrose for sure. This is all definitely new to me and I'm trying my best to learn everyday. Thanks again man. I'll keep what you said in mind.

I had to go back and check what moves it had. Your right though. The stars and planets would have to align again for me to get that sweet mon!

@@Therealpokerus Didn't just luck out. Had a great team, but yeah just the Elite 4 and Champion had really disappointing teams.

That's good to know. I'll keep that in mind.

You have to get the universal randomizer with the pokemon red rom and then have a emulator. It's kinda a lot but when you know how to navigate through it. It becomes easier.

@@Therealpokerus Since I commented I have actually sorted it and am currently on the way to my 5th badge. Lost my starter yesterday. RIP Flareon 😂
