Your explanation of the last verse was great! Something I want to elaborate upon: to me, it also sounds kind of like a foretelling of Jesus, where we, as His people, who, in fact, are scattered (both physically and possibly emotionally/journey-wise), don't have to deal with such pains anymore - we can give it all to Him and stay in that safety within the Lord Jesus.
