IF i had to choose, id dress for a slide and pray for a lowside cause damn airbag gears are expensive where i live.
High side, you fall over the bike, the top of the bike rotates in the direction you are going. Low side, you fall with the bike, the bottom of the bike rotates towards the direction you’re going. I almost had a low side and a high side today lol there was snow earlier and roads were wet, I made a right turn from a stop and when I accelerated out, my rear lost traction, twisting me down towards the right. Split second later, the tire caught traction again, twisting left and straightening out the bike in a split second. Any more power on that wheel and I’d have been flung to the left, up and over the bike.
Hey man nice gear you got. Where you get those??
I used to work for a powersport dealer in VA. Got it from there
One is way more worse than the other. Don’t say they are both on the same level. A high side is generally worse than a low side.
I've seen people lose their lives in both instances. So I don't know if I can say either or for that.
Literally every biker knows this
Not true, stop being a smart-ass because you're really the opposite of smart.
Are you assuming he's speaking to experienced riders? Does it bother you he's wanting inform, whether he's speaking to experienced riders, new riders, or non-riders?
@UpNyoCheeks If you have never rode a bike in you life but are going into biking. You should know this. Same thing for gun courses
@historyZZ right, been riding for 7 years myself. I appreciate him taking the time to make this video for anyone getting into biking because i wasn't going to take the time to make this video. But your original comment seems to imply he wasted his time making this video just because it ended up in front of you
@UpNyoCheeks no one buys a bike with having zero interest in biking. Meaning anyone wanting to get into ANY subject logically would try to learn the basics before they hop on, or before they spend thousands of dollars. I watched dirtbike content for years before my parents bought my first bike( bought my own 2022 with my own money). When I went for my gun license I was already learning about firearms for years. Scored 97% on my test, even better then my dad. I'm not going to buy pair of ballet shoes tomorrow because again, no interest. Hell most people don't know about counter steering yet they still do it while biking. Even if they don't know it. If you're getting into any subject with absolutely zero info, chances are you shouldn't or don't really want to.
Beautiful 400 brother I got a black one is that a wrap ? If so where'd u get it
Why you sound like the cops😂😂
@ggb.C13 are wraps illegal where you live or are u a "special" ? Lmao
@ggb.C13 was prolly fried mb 😂
Thanks man! I miss my black 400 sometimes. But to answer your question, it's a fairing kit.
Smart rider wearing the right gear and educating others. Respect.
I try!
about the 400 being too slow, sometimes. depends on where you are riding. Here in arkansas it is too slow. people will run you off the road. people drive fast here.
Challenge accepted!
people ask the same questions no matter what bike you have. lol. except a harley. then people just ask you to rev it all the time. lololol
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@1:43 Women don't love you, they only love how you make them feel and most of all what kind of life style you can provide for them without them having to work. When that child turns around 6-7 years old that's when she'll make her exit. If you get her a house she'll pop out 2 more kids then get ride of you kicking you out the house. I suppose we'll check back and see.
I financed, but only because Aprilia dealer wouldn't work with price at all. But Aprilia was -- probably still is -- offering 0.99% interest. Well, if they won't negotiate on price... I'll take the liquidity. Still put $2k down just to make sure I'm not upside down if anything happens. Love the bike. Don't see myself growing out of it... ever. 660cc is plenty for me. Love the quickshift down... it's finicky on rpm range it'll actually upshift on, but great for merging onto highway. And the quick downshifts are crisp and reliable for engine braking.
I think you made the right call. That 0.99% is crazy good.
I think its a great way to build credit, I bought a "beginner bike" at about 10 years riding experience and still have it and love it.
I hear you on that one. As long as its the bike you actually want.
For me it was worth it financing a beginner bike. I am a truck driver for work and can't risk my license going stupid speeds. I just wanted something new with nice tech that felt fast but not stupidly fast. I settled on a duke 390. I have a ball riding it and haven't felt bored of the power even once in the year I've owned it
That makes sense man! Enjoy your ride!
respect bro thanks for the info
No problem 👍 I plan to make more content surrounding this topic to give more information
Lost me at pre led headlights. ✌🏻
Yeah, I'm just not a fan of one light being on. I'm personally glad the motorcycle industry has caught up.
I rode up to the front of the freeway off-ramp waiting on a red light (lane splitting) the truck at the front next to me starts creeping up while veering towards me, so I back up to his window and ask him “what did you say” he asks me the same question😂 and he pretended to reach in his empty lap. The light was still red so I kept backing up and was able to puncture one of his sidewalls. 💨
Yo! That's wild fam!
Most of the time the problem is people don't understand how bikes work, so they don't know how to drive around you. And a lot of the blame is also on the biker a lot of times for riding recklessly and putting themselves in a situation where they are at risk if a driver does something stupid. Don't lane split, doesn't matter if it's legal, don't do it. Don't pass a whole line of cars in a traffic jam on the highway, any second one of those cars will get tired of sitting there and switch into your lane to cut ahead and you are going to smash into them. Don't ever ride behind a car. If they are close enough to even say you are behind them, you need to back off or pass. keep you distance from everyone on all sides. In general don't ride like 99% of TH-cam crotch rocket bikers.
I have been street riding since 1969 without injury. I move like a car, predictably. I check my mirrors frequently.
I'm all for riding safely, but thank you for proving one can take that too far. There is nothing wrong with lane splitting where that's allowed and your minimum distance behind some car should be reasonable to react (2 seconds) and brake. Every motorcyclist should have trained their braking so they can accurately estimate those distances for their bike and their skill. And last but not least, in modern traffic its impossible to stay away from everyone, so you should scan for drivers driving dangerously to know who specifically to stay away from. Your attention is your guardian angel, ride accordingly
@@An0niem4 At 60mph, 2 seconds behind is about 6 car lengths. That's a good distance, it's also about 6x more than most TH-cam rocket bikers would give. At 65mph make it 8-10 car lengths, that's more than almost anyone I've ever seen, myself included. It is impossible to stay away from everyone, but the point is you should try. At least be aware of where everyone is at, what they are doing, and where the people you can't see might unexpectedly come from. And then keep far enough away that no matter what they do, you can react in time.
@@JohnPlissken Exactly. Predicting traffic to stay safe is not only about being aware of the dangers but also identifying what is the safe (or safest available) place. What is also important in regard to distances is that you do not have to out-brake the car in front of you if you can look further ahead than just that one car. You can start braking earlier
@@An0niem4 And also by being aware of what is in front of the car, as a last resort if you can't brake in time you can turn off and avoid hitting him. If you ever have to do that, don't panic, keep control, move to the side and finish braking. It should be done as casually as changing lanes.
Good to see warrior content. Do you ever check out the rs warrior forum? A ton of knowledge on there about the warrior and a good group of people.
Yeah, mostly when I need to know something. Don't feel I have much to contribute.
How are you finding the system now? Do you connect to another. Cardo pack talk and sena. I've picked up a freedconn vb. So look forward to using it and pairing to other riders.n
Still loving it and still using it with my helmet. I do not believe there is a way to connect with other brands. But that could be my lack of trying. If I figure out something, I'll make a video about it.
@@irontitancycles great to hear a positive review. I bought 3 so we all have one. I'm yet to figure out patching music or sat nav through when connected to another rider.. but it's early days.
That is a great looking bike.
I think so too!
I have been riding since 2019 and have owned 2 motorcycles so far. My current Motorcycle is a 2023 ninja 400. I would love absolutely love to get the ZX6R But what’s keeping me away from it is the rider triangle. If I was to ever buy the 636 I would have to modify the ergonomics lol. Basically, I would try and get the seating position to sit as close to the ninja 400s as I can possibly get it.
Hey, I completely understand! 30 minutes into this bike and my back was not happy. I am catching wind that litre bikes are more comfortable tho. Got me thinking🤔
You’d be surprised how many genuinely hate their siblings
I'm an only child myself but I grew up in close proximity to cousins that I don't want nothing to do with now. So I get it.
Maaan...fix your left mirror! It's cockeyed!😂😂😂
Bro, tell me about it! That thing gets on my nerves
I have a warrior. Such a fun bike.
Did you say yamaha warrior? I have myself a warrior also but I would love me one of those addition to the staple.
I did. 2008 actually
I grew up on riding dirt-bikes. I definitely could have started on a 600 or a 1000. But I figured sense it’s my first “street bike/sports bike” I decided to go with the ninja 500 all the people that say the 400 or 500s are “slow” are brainwashed these bikes are plenty for the street. Now the highway that’s a different story but for most of the ride it’s plenty of bike and power im glad that I started on the 500 tho because it’s really forgiving and just simple and easy to ride and comfortable. Like I said I could have started on a big bike but people don’t understand that these bikes aren’t a toy and they are machines that WILL kill you in the blink of an eye. Also u can make so many mistakes on a 400 or 500 or 300 and not hurt yourself if u mess up but if u fuck up on a 600 or 1000 it’s very likely ur gonna get hurt. The room for error on those bikes is very small very small u almost almost got to be perfect.
I couldn't have said it better myself!
Ninja is definitely on my wishlist 😍 that blue version especially fine asf
Yeah, i wish they still had that color available
@@irontitancycles they don’t make them anymore ?
Hayabusa was my 3rd bike. I went from a Vulcan S 650, to a Sportster S 1250 to a 2019 Hayabusa Gen 2 with a few mods and tune. For a week I felt like I had to fight to keep the bike under 100mph. Because it just pulled so hard and would go 150mph plus like it was nothing. I’ve seen people start on litre bikes and such but the ones that make it tend to be mature riders from the start.
Good point! That Busa sounds like fun tho!
Is the 6r stock color? Its beautiful I don't see many in that color. I own a Kawasaki Z400 its a mini monster. I started with a Kawasaki Z125 Pro that was a baby lol. Great video.
That 6R is a 2019 model year. The only one that came out in blue after that was a 2022 and 2025. But they are not exactly the same.
Love the vid❤
Thanks
Single 29yr that has a job near my hotel 5min away and just got my M license I only went for the ZX6R because it looks nice .Keeps making it sound like I made a mistake as I wait for it to arrive bit a well I want it 😅
Here I’ll make it easy for you. If you want to ride comfortably get the 400 if your want your back to hurt and be uncomfortable ride the 600 I have been riding 15 years only sport bikes. And Everytime I ride my back hurts like a MF yah I’m in my 30s and only own 600cc bikes regardless of it’s a 1000 or 6 both hurt.
When you first started did your back still hurt? I noticed as I started on my 636, the first 1.5 months or so my back was hurting but I’ve gotten used to it and/or I have proper positioning now, and my back doesn’t really hurt anymore
That's a good way to break it down! That is exactly why I like to have choices!
This mug said 1330😅😂
It’s like easy vs medium difficulty then you get the 1000cc
🤔...😂Yeah, exactly
zx-6r is the bike I've started on, I've been taking it very slow with learning the bike and other things in general about riding, its been a blast though learning all of this stuff
Hell yeah bro. Get some track days in when you can 💪🏽
That's awesome! I can't wait to get one myself!
Did you use the quick shifter at all? I got my first bike (2021 zx6r) in may and let me tell you its amazing!
I didn't😑
Ninja just go crazy
I know right!
beautiful bike.
Absolutely!
Did you take it to the Harley dealership to get it inspected? Don’t you have mechanics? 😂
No, not Harley. But as I said before, sometimes a problem requires creative solutions
As long as it's not a Harley. I will never own one, even if i had the money to afford their overblown prices. I'll stick with metric bikes. Currently on an M109r Boulevard.
I absolutely love that bike! My friend has a 2013 and that thing is sick!
@@irontitancycles Plus, in the 5 years i've had it, i've only ever seen one other M109 and it was a newer one. So i'm unique around here :D Unlike Harley which are everywhere and not special. Just loud and annoying. lol
@@Badkitty24 facts

use it for the three wheeled t-rex motorcycle car
Your words of encouragement really helped me to finalize my decision! thank you so much! The quality of this video is SO MUCH more than I was expecting for having this many subscribers! I wish you all the best moving forward, brother🤘
Dope bike, I wanna try an Indian, on my bucket list.
Same here! Anything ever happen to the warrior, Indian is my pick.
Indians have a transmission that is smooth as butter, went on a new '24 street glide and it still has the same clunkiness as my '09. HD gets stuck on the same tech for 50 years, gives you a tiny bit of 20 year old tech and says "Hey look, we paving the way" i.e. water cooling.
That happens when the fans of a brand care more about status and appearance than efficiency.
I like Harley's but with all the woke crap going on I am considering an Indian. I wish Indian has more of a chopper-esque bike like a Softail. Something you could put a springer front end on. I know, poor performance and all, but if performance was all that mattered I'd buy a sport bike.
Fair enough. Check out the Indian Chief and its accessories. There may be something there for you.
My man, INSPECTION? AKA Voluntary bendover.
I'm glad it's not just me, lol
I don’t like the looks of it
Harley guy?
Me and my son both have warriors his 02 my 03 best bikes ever period ill definitely subscribe not many warrior channels out there definitely enjoy your video
