Hey Rob, how was Christmas this year ? Things get any better for you ? Heart felt happy new year to you.

I'm more than a Hugh fan of double barrel shotguns , I'm also a gunsmith, who taught himself to work on these guns. That is a well made stock, and a gorgeous piece of wood. Before I would do anything to it, including shooting and cleaning, I would put in some time researching it. Might be original, or owned by some one who had the money to restock it like this. And then if it is all go, I would leave it as is and shoot it without worrying that I may be ruining it.Enjoy
