I think the wind tunnel time penalty hurt Mercedes more than anticipated. It's also unbelievable that Ferrari would fizzle out like this. It's definitely eye brow-rising that Max held a grudge for Monaco, one would wish Formula racing would demand from its drivers a certain minimum degree of having good-faith/gentlemanliness. For me the bigger shocker was Sebastian's retirement, we knew it was coming and I guess there wouldn't have been a time where it wouldn't have felt the way it did.
