I have most on your list except Calvin and All Negro Comics (tough to find). I did get a Vampi in an 8.5, TOD in a 9.2, Hero for Hire X3 9.2, FF 52 X2 (7.0 and 8.0), Strange Tales 169 in 9.6 and Moon Girl & DD...my favorite in regular and hip hop and with the art from Reader, Tradd and Ramos covers from various issue (my fav cover in my collection is the RiRi and Moon Girl cover). The UF4, I bought when it came out. Later I pressed it myself and got the 9.8. Most of the books I had for years. Bought off the newsstand, traded with friends or garage sales. The books above are from a garage sale at .50 each. The price corrections have made it easier to pick up books, not as easy as pre-2014, but easier. Comic collecting "a Sport" - J 😂 There is currently an All-Negro Comics 1 in a 6.5 CGC cream to off-white in Heritage with a bid 9.3K. (lot: 91048) that is a lot of lunches you have to pack if you want to buy that one. I say it goes for...11K, then again, it is a tough book to find with such a small census. My personal wants: All American Comics 61 More Fun Comics 55 & 73

Great pick-ups and great lists. I say every year that my number 1 goal is Werewolf By Night 32. I may have to throw Heroes for Hire 1 and FF52 on the list. That's ambitious for one year, but you gotta start somewhere.

So, Mark Millar 1st brought us Nemesis back in 2013, McNivens was the artist. The art was great. That makes this his 2nd go around. It was under the ICON label at the time. I think I got is from him in Heroes Con. I have to look for your other pick-ups.

I was sad that it had to end but glad they bowed out on a high note. Thanks for sharing the books you nabbed. "Bitter Root" was a good monthly pick up but I feel the story is better served in a trade or omnibus. Thanks for sharing the comic love!

I suspect you have some insider knowledge about the internal dynamics and ongoing issues at CGC. Well said! It's sad that people can't deliver OBJECTIVE COMMENTARY without their implicit bias (maybe even racism) creeping thru. We @Gengeekfam actually did a breakdown of the video with my perspective as a 27 year police officer to shed a more accurate light on his (J. Majors) unfortunate situation. But you were more than thorough my friend!! Kudos! Praying that Major's career is given the equal grace that RDJ has been given.

Majors can go get some other job. We don’t need someone like him in any position of power in any industry, but especially in media. But all that aside, is this really a white knighting video for a movie star who beats women? …….why? 😂 You weren’t in the courtroom. You weren’t on the jury. You don’t know what evidence was presented to the jury. Marvel doesn’t owe Majors a second chance. SEPARATELY many people came out after Majors was found to be a domestic abuser, and said how Major treated people around him. And at NO POINT has Majors acknowledged his abusive behaviors. Majors was convicted of a misdemeanor, which should be an indication to those reporting the story that it's not a very serious infraction. Majors was absolutely shafted by the entire situation; almost every podcast, entertainment reporter, etc, treated the story as a serious crime with no context, which exacerbated the entire situation. Majors is a highly talented actor, who I hope will reestablish his career eventually

I'm sure you haven't seen a tenth of the movies he's been in, showing his immense range and abilities. Majors, yeah he's solid, but he's only got one character, basically angry dude. He plays an angry, misunderstood person in every movie. Bro brings nothing else to the table. He might have become a great actor, had he not shit the bed with these personal issues. As far as Comic Tom and pushing fomo, I mean come on man. He's popular, but him talking about the top ten isn't affecting the market at the level you're implying. That' ridiculous! Sorry, but your argument is meandering. “Lies and inaccuracies”? Really? From what I hear, you’re low-key disparaging the comic “influencer” and RDJ in your defense of Majors, who was convicted of a violent crime. You can talk all you want about the degrees of criminality, but the facts remain. RDJ was convicted of non-violent drug related crimes vs. violent crimes. I’ve enjoyed Majors’s accomplishments and I’m sure he’ll eventually get an opportunity at redemption…just like RDJ. As for the comics influencer, I have no opinion on him or his channel as I’ve only casually watched a few videos of his.

First video I have seen from you, and I gotta say that I love the way you speak. You were able to defend Majors without discounting his actions for what he ACTUALLY did rather than what people are assuming. You seem passionate about comics and their related movies.
