This has got to be rage bait? She looks incredible! Considering that her mother is literally revealed to be Mythal and you can see that in the headpiece, I think this costume change is incredible! (Especially considering she was 20 in the first game and like 40+ now?) what would you change?

In Inquisition I liked that she was a bit softer due to being a mother now, a son who she loves more than she loves herself and would possibly burn the world over if something were to happen to him.

While I agree that the developers have pretty much destroyed the lore and appeal of what used to be a dark game, I think Morrigan’s character development is completely human. The cynical and sharp-tongued witch we used to know in Origins (which, by the way, is 22 years ago in game years) is now older, wiser and much more mature. Haven’t we all mellowed down since high school? 😅

Since Mythal is basically a small part of her perhaps she is modling her into something worse maybe somewhat a Kin to what Solas is now. To me she sounds more like a demigod in Veilguard that just an odd mage not older or refine something tells me she will be the next villian.

Remember this time around she is not herself, she is a host to Mythal. Her not being her usual self actually works given she has part of Mythal’s spirit in her now. I assume it would work like possession. Anders and Lucanis both have personality changes after possession as they share their bodies with Justice/Vengeance (Anders) and Spite (Lucanis).

I mean, 20 years had passed since Inquisition. Naturally there will be drastic changes in everyone Games Origins to Inquisition spans 10 years. In the actual timeline, there’s little breathing room between those games

It would've been interesting to see Morrigan in DA2. Some character models, like the Qunari and Flemeth, peaked in that game. The Arishock was completely badass!

Typical BioWare that with the marching forward of time and progress, their games regress. They could’ve made the perfect game. But instead, BioWare gave the reigns to adults with the mental and maturity capacity of 12 year olds.

I kinda like that they made her face to look like she originally did in the trailer for Dragon age Origins. And it makes sense that she has grown as a person through the years.

Morrigan has had a child and became a protective mother. Surely motherhood would soften her a lil bit as well as she’s not a recluse in the wilds anymore. She’s made connections and friends in her adulthood so it makes sense that she wouldn’t be the cold mysterious woman any more. Shes probs still cold and distant to those she’s not fond of but she has history with some of these people so it makes sense she’d act like it idk

A note for the Shadow Cursed Lands- you can also use the “light” cantrip to protect your party from the Shadow Curse. As long as your party stays relatively close, they’ll be protected from the curse. The cantrip will affect the target’s equipped weapon, so be careful to not switch weapons. This frees up your main hand for combat.

Worse yet, the developers took away anything that might connect her to your Origins PT.

Nothing felt off in Dragon Age: Inqusition when it comes to Morrigan. I don’t know what you are talking about. If anything, it is actually an excellent depiction of how she became more mature while, *at the same time*, keeping some of the snark she had in her young years. You can see it on the facial expressions alone, though dialogue confirms it too. I haven’t played DA:TV but you can see on the video here that, unfortunately, that snark is lost on the facial expression alone. She looks like some “happy lady”. There is a “brightness” in her eyes, like someone that has a too positive outlook on the world (which is the problem with DA:TV; too much positivity; HR in the room, etc). Yes, she is even older now, but Flemeth was much older and arguably even snarkier than Morrigan.

It's simple, her pale skin in Inquisition made her eyes stand out more, wich was a Great choice... Her pale skin is simply not there in Veilguard's design but it could have been Worse.

Morrigan was, till Veilbland, unforgettable. There arent many characters in games or movies like that. Strong, sharp, funny, sexy and independent. I feel like she would be the feminists dream woman. I will literally never forget that sneaky witch-thief
