Losing comrades one by one till he alone stands in the final battle for the survival for the universe. Vilgax had returned and Ben 10 being forced to give it his all only to bring upon a stalemate where both he and Vilgax lost their lives. Thus saving the universe but being unable to save anyone he cares about or himself. A hero to his dying breath.

I'll always remember the movie where Ben accidentally triggers the Omnitrix's self destruct sequence. I couldn't do justice to it here and now, but that movie was and is emblematic of what makes Ben a true hero. Ben's adventures inspired me as a kid, and lines from the film like... *"Step off.
