I’m Cassandra and join me on my journey learning and developing as a wood worker and gardener. My goal is to be self-sufficient by growing my own food and building what I need along the way. I believe that you are more capable than you think. Don’t be afraid to try it.
Behind the Scenes: Organizing My Woodworking Space! |VLOG #1
In this VLOG, I’m tackling the chaos in my woodworking space and giving it a much needed cleaning.
From messy tool storage to disorganized workstations, I’m sharing my process of getting everything in order, making the most of my space, and improving efficiency.
Watch me work through the clutter and turn this workshop into a functional, organized space where I can find what I need faster.
Along the way, I'll talk about things in my garage, my set up, hopes for future projects and knowledge, and how I make decisions to keep everything accessible and efficient.
Have your own wood shop organization tips?
Drop them in the comments because I really need the suggestions.

I must admit I do watch some of your videos and the stuff you make is is great 👍🏻 but please STOP trying to drill large holes with a forstner bit in a hand drill, use a pillar drill instead. I badly sprained my wrist with kickback and was lucky,I could have broken my wrist 😲😲 please just be careful and will keep watching your posts 😎
@@steveshields5018 Ty for the suggestion. I have to look into a pillar drill and I really want a drill press. Dang I didn’t know that could happen. So sorry about your injury. I’ll be careful now ty
@ No problem,it’s something that most people don’t think about until it’s too late and believe me it hurts.I picked up a new pillar drill or drill press in USA over here in the UK for less than £80,it’s not the most powerful but it does what I need it to do 👍🏻😎
#spiders #😮
Ahhhhhh love it girl! Been a long time coming. Can’t believe we talked about this and you made it happen. The booths are amazing!
@@tivagonelurngvirujanakul4592 thank you Tiv and thank you for the opportunity to make these! ❤️
So cuteeee❤❤❤❤

they are too cute
Always make templates. So don’t feel bad templates are cheaper to make plus you can always save them to make the time to the exact dimensions in the future. I do have a suggestion tho don’t solely rely on liquid nail . Slap in there some finishing nails and cover with wood filler it insures that it will hold up for years to come . Liquid nail will eventually deteriorate over time . But like I said it’s just a suggestion! Fantastic work tho !
@@TravisBon615 ty Travis I felt like I was it arts and crafts lol I used Brad nails to and I did cover them with wood filler 👍🏻
@ sweet . I wasn’t sure if you did . Juts figured I’d say something in case you didn’t finishing nails . But it’s most definitely is arts and craft just the adults version. And can be more dangerous if you don’t pay attention 😂😂 keep popping out projects. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store
@@TravisBon615 oooh tysm Travis I’m definitely working on stuff right now. I’m so on on on Next video Saturday! 💪😎
amazing their not spooked by the vacuum, such great loyal buds!
@@lukeo5935 I thought the same! Even the table saw and sander doesn’t stop them from hanging around. I have to make them leave haha

Love it!!
I’m a man, and I make templates all the time. That’s how my grandfather did it, and how he taught me to do it. Nothing to be ashamed of. Better to waste a few minutes, than to waste a bunch of wood. Keep it up.
@@CivilizedWarrior 😄 that’s great. Artistic minds think alike Thank you for sharing
Nice job, but be careful wearing baggy and loose clothes that can get pulled in when working with saws. That blade spins faster than youncan react and trust me, its not pretty when it happens.
@@davewagner980 definitely Thank you 🙏🏻
Nice work!
@@blankreg420 thank you!
Bracing with plywood is a bad idea. Plywood does not have uniform grain direction through its layers. It is designed to be strong to strain (pulling) but it will flex sideways (against pressure applied flat). You should replace your plywood supports with two by fours because the plywood flexing will loosen the screws over time. Also run the 2x4 so the thin side of the 2x4 is against the seat rather than the flat side of the 2x4. A 2x4 can be broken striking against the flat surface, but it takes a tremendous amount of force to crack a 2x4 with pressure directed at the thin side. I used a eight foot 2x4 as a lever to pull up about thirty split rail fence posts out of the ground and only broke one 2x4.
@@UnnoneWandering thank you for the explanation! I’ll replace them when they need it.
Awesome!
Woot woot!
Datass doe
I don't do woodwork but that is a nice looking piece
thank you!!
Aww a fantastically put-together video for a fantastically put-together planter!! This was a delight to watch, and the project came out beautifully!!!
awe thank you so much!
Switch blade 🔪 action was 🔥, lol. Great video 💪! Keep at it & stay strong!
haha ty, love that knife
It says, make your ideas real sketch to reality. Across the screenshot it says "Make it reality"
I've been searching for your channel for a year because I took a screenshot of a planter you built. I would love to learn how you built it.
@@katherinehansen5801 hi Katherine! Thank you for reaching out and looking for the channel! On my page I have a video on how to build those style of planters. If you have any questions reach out to me on IG and I can help you in better detail. My IG is also @citruscedar
How did you cut them ?
Good job mate!
I thought the main feature of these were the ability to write your measurements on the tape itself.
This is a nice fresh take on the planters that I've seen the last few years. I'm gonna have to rethink my planters and make some for my channel. New sub!
Awesome skills. Very organized in the way you work. Great job!
Solid work. But you should not vent your crawlspace 🤦🏼♂️
Less talk more 🍑
Awesome thumbnail! Even better video!
Nice job!
This was such a great video. Looking forward the future. Cheers
Thank you! Next video coming out this Saturday
Cool build!
Thank you 🙏🏻
you are so adorable ! I love your videos and how you explain things
They turned out very nice
Good money making idea. I personally see changes to make a short production run of 50 to 100 units. Yet Saved, Liked and Subscribed for now. Frankly, place the logo on the TOP SIDE. Vary the height, Maybe a step, Maybe an Asian Dining table. Little higher a short bench to take on and off footwear. A little higher, bench, a Little higher a planter stand. ETC.
Thank you and. I’m glad you liked the video. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Do you wood work also?
@@citruscedar We all need a observant eye. Yours is quite keen! I watch, learn and make with the help of creative minds like yours! Thank You
So cute!
Do you like your brander? Which one did you get?
Sweet Planter!

Amazing ❤ 🖤
Nice work❤
Great for your first time! The corners are the only thing I’d say you can perfect, everything else is already there.
Switching from a Ryobi to a Milwaukee was also a better decision.
You beat me to that comment bro 😂

Kind suggestion: Camera on other side of table; back of head and shoulder blades doesn't inform that much.
Working on my filming for sure
What a great outcome! That was a cool unique jewelry box and you could have gone many different fun ways with decorating it. What you chose was lovely. Great work!
Thank you so much ❤️ I gave it to my sister and the look on her face 👀 she really liked it.
Awe so cute. Happy to see you saved this piece! 😊 When I do run across one in the the thrift stores. I always pick them up❤
Thrifting is the best. Saving pieces is so rewarding
these things are such a pain in the arse to use
