A Poem for Knowle by Jonny Fluffypunk
This poem for Knowle was created by poet, Jonny Fluffypunk, following a local history walk organised by Solihull Libraries and Poetry on Loan. It was initiated by Visit Knowle and a local historian from Knowle Society led a walk around the historic heart of Knowle in September 2023. Jonny crafted this poem as a result of his and the participants' reflections on the local history.

Ode For Solihull

A new poem referencing Solihull's history, based on suggestions by participants on a guided heritage walk during May 2019. Poet, Giovanni Esposito (a.k.a. Spoz) then combined these with his own verse to create an Ode to Solihull. This is the premiere of his performance of the work at The Core Library, Solihull during Libraries Week 2019.

"Dash cam" footage of Station Road, Mill Lane, Drury Lane, Warwick Road, and High Street, Solihull, taken in 1963 by Reginald E. Cooper (1907-1971), before the redevelopment of central Solihull and the opening of the Mell Square development. It was taken using an 8mm mechanically wound Bell & Howell cine camera on a fixed mounting in his car.
