Sounds pretty sweet, nice to see one with the pump timed right. I recon it would have fired on the first turn if you’d have held the key in the heat position for 10 seconds and then cranked it with full accelerator until it catches - no timed preheat and automatic overfuel on cranking on these like later models have, it’s all very manual. Diesel models also had a hand throttle on the bulkhead as standard equipment specifically so you can notch the idle up when cold.

I wish he could just tell us what this coach is instead of constantly pushing it on the bus. I was a truck driver b4, and those battery packs do not last long, especially in long-distance trips when you would just want to park for 1 day or 2 to rest from the driving those batteries will quit in 6 to 7 hours of steady use.

I lived in Poland for over 20 years and drove several of these. There is no way the max speed was 140. Most of them would do 110 to 115

I gess, the Main Accumulator (located on Engine) is empty. Take one from I. F. H. S.. It's nowadays the original Manufacturer from Spheres of Hydropneumatic, also PSA let it producing there. The Changing of Suspensionspheres/Accumulators it's easy. I own self 3 XM y4 V6 (twice ES9J4 and once Zpj4). Enjoy the unique, floating Drive feeling of Citroën XM😊
That bolt attaching the oil cooler to the radiator was new because that bracket was missing (I am the previous owner).

Trzeba było wspomnieć, że nagrywający miał taki pojazd w czasach swojej świetlanej młodości. Nie jestem pewien ale wydaje mi się że pompowanie paliwa pedałem gazu miało sens tylko w dużym fiacie gdzie w gaźniku była pompka. Maluch chyba takiej nie miał.
What a beautiful car. This colour is rare for it and looks stunning. Rims and antenna are not standard parts though. I owned a red metallic SV with the later V6, great car.
Wo nice car I see a 1.8 X but this one has air conditioner and also electric front windows. This older ones are rare with AC. I have a 2.0 SX 8v from 1993 (also with AC) with automatic transmission, very nice relaxing car. Greetings from the Netherlands
Hou je veerpoten goed in de gaten, die durven je motorkap spiezen vanaf die leeftijd. Beide best vervangen, kosten ongeveer 100 per stuk. Die allereerste hadden dit probleem erg
@@WorivpuqloDMogh ja klopt ken het probleem, komt door roest zie veel bij exemplaren langs de kust. Vooral de "normale" hydraulische systemen hebben hier last, de Hydractive zoals bij de oude 2 liters komt het juiste weer minder (kan wel). Scheelt dat die van mij ook nog eens binnen staat 😁
@@cdjoris goed dat je het weet haha. Ja mijne heeft last van roest aan die rechter kant. Moet gelast worden en ga ook die poten vervangen in Oktober. Ja die zijn weer anders qua design ook scheelt een pak. Maar blijven geweldige autos om mee te rijden. De mijne heeft nu ook een irritant probleem dat de bekleding van het dak naar beneden is gekomen dus nu steekt mijn dak vol nietjes 😂
@@cdjoris betere auto kan je niet hebben dan zo een Citroën. Ik heb binnenkort ook een C6 erbij. 😁
@@WorivpuqloDMogh oh een c6 wordt mij teveel. Heb er nog wel een AX bij rijd vooral erg leuk en is goedkoop en makkelijk zelf te onderhouden
