I would definitely recommend turning around to wallclimb the floating coin islands to save time. Just practice turning around and walking into the jumppad and holding forward (no left) while turning the camera to change air direction. you dont want to stall and not get far enough. The tp across does help but you don't have to.

Are you sure you are comparing the same soldier difficulty? Unless there's a bug, seems like just over 7200 is the limit for Recruit (slightly different routing). I havn't even bothered 100%ing agent and veteran difficulties yet so I'm not familiar with those score ranges but they should be 100%ing within 3x time bonus. Time should play a big part in score. each second spent in the course is 10 points lost assuming always in the 3x bonus.

The power score gap of ppl who have newer and better strats and the ones who don't lol. I may have copied this route because others made it first. But I had the same ideas too.

It was barely possible before season 9. For some reason they lowered the time limit by 10s.

Eh. 12150 was absolutely doable for me as you could see I died and the 3rd section was super slow not even from the death. But I was still theorying routes to many things and I just didn't want to commit to these long genji runs and havn't returned yet. Also the end section can be changed. I think that the better way is to dash up to front wall coin, shooting center red, dashing to other front wall coin, shoot other center red, dash to ult pack. Deflect, walk to one side back coin, shoot the lone center tank bot, dash to other back coin. Ulting from the top of the wall up to a high shield bot pack, then ulting the mid top and other shield pack, then dashing down while swiping a mid height red into swiping at the bottommost reds. That would leave a single red alive to shoot after the blade ends.

Sorry for the additional late reply. I uploaded a newer version again that is more forgiving to do. Took out a coin in first room and fixed the last room routing.

Nah nah I was slow everywhere lol. My segments have been at least a second faster at each area.

@@nsbss1 well I’m on console I wish I could be as precise and quick as this 😅 the routing is helping me push for higher scores still tho!

How many coins were you missing? Did it not open even after getting the 5 below the end? There is even 1 more coin you can get near the health pack I take.

@@nsbss1 Nevermind, I just saw there was coin threshold. I got it now. I was on track to get 5 stars time and time again before I saw this guide, but now I see why the door never opened lol.

Yeah. His start was the one Mea was using too. I've had <11s door exits on both with same booster cd timer but I've gotten lower 10s exit with my way. And yes! I'm happy he punched the bot 2nd room to make it vulnerable to being booped. I also thought but never tried. My 2 red bot at end of 2nd room was better though. Even his run can be done better.

Finally got 10040. But with the number 1 score being more than a second ahead I’m wondering if they might have a slight change somewhere? Or are they just that efficient?

​@mfn1311 It should just be more efficient. I often get hardstuck because I'm doing something too routine rather than perfect. My start can be better if I shoot the bot as I fly, bhop in 2nd room after ALL tank bots, my last bomb def better (set on the middle barrier which might show me immediate improvement), and still better movement everywhere (I don't believe I did any section perfectly here. Just good enough). Doing Any% absolutely helped practice parts that I would usually not get to because of an earlier reset. I would have given up after posting this vid if I didn't take the next day to practice any% 1st room shooting, both 2nd section bhop setups, better red killing at the end of 2nd, and direct line bomb drop. Why are there so many ppl achieving 10040 and contesting 10050 scores! Lol. I wish i had this competition when tracer came out. Congrats on the <1 min club.

@@nsbss1 haha I don’t know why there are so many, I do it because I main D.Va and feel I should get a good score. And it’s so fun xD Interesting pointers, I’ll have to look into it. I agree on the bomb placement, that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing, don’t know how immediate the changes will be, but perhaps you’re just way better at the other sections than me. Feels great to be under 1 minute haha, although my best time is 59.71 but I managed to miss an emblem 🥹 I’m very happy I found this video though, up until my 10029 I had to just figure everything out on my own, which wasn’t too easy 😁

@mfn1311 An update. I got a 10049.1. with many many low 59s. I basically try to bhop actually every single boost (except the first one just because I want to get runs in). And putting bomb in left of the middle barrier. The bhops and bomb themselves gave me 1 second consistently lower than before. I'll upload it if I don't pb again by the end of this session. I messed up so many 50 runs already because I'm way too fast in the end now and miss the big emblem timing every time.

Yeah that was another thought. Skip ult and then I can snag every coin down below either as a 2 + 3 or all 5 after the barrel. And shoot middle shield bot as I drop down as well as save wall to shoot the shield bot a 2nd time while collecting coins so I dont have to break my 4 corner coin collecting line. Also when I first come off of the slide, i want to shoot once the faaar moving bot on top instead of the one down below. I should have time to shoot everything else as I walk past them, and shoot the leftmost sniper as I drop down. Heroes move faster walking forward so I want to minimize my backwards shooting at the very last stretch.

@@nsbss1you can two tap the shield bot without shield as you drop but have to skip the coin at the first TN barrel or you don’t have enough time, I got my run to be slightly higher than this by skipping that coin and grabbing 4/5 under the ultimate cola by doing +2 +2 (net +2 coins by skipping ultimate and skipping the coin by tnt barrel)… still trying to figure out how to break 8900 though, the dude that’s rank 1 rn must be cracked. shooting top bots also does help cut down the backwards time, just hard to hit those shots from such a long distance! lmk if you break this score or want to combine strats lol

Yeah my route is tight. Notice how I tried not going past halfway into the coins on pickups? Inside corners. Try looking at your coin pickup pathing. There is usually a second or so going too wide over the whole run. Kills are usually a given for any hero so its all about pathing. First section, bouncepads in end, going around the 4 coins when freezing. Im going to try some lucio this next week though so im just going to wait to see if any r1 world mei posts a run because im missing something haha.

From previous testing with the first 5 heroes on emblem acccuracy points and ability use, each certain set packs of enemies cap your bonus points to a cetain score and killing after the accuracy is achieved can even be inflated. Accuracy category should cap out at some point.. and idr but ideally bring the accuracy up before that first group. Are you sure accuracy has lasting consequences for mei in the end? Or just face value point gains on the early shots.

@@nsbss1 Sorry I'm not entirely sure how the scoring works but I was assuming that 100% accuracy would give more score than 99%.

You don't need 100% accuracy to get the max score , it caps at 200 points for about 70% accuracy. I think it's only important for the leaderboard

Yeah they did. You just have to be really fast again now. You can still get 1:35s/34 easily enough though.
