Glad you mentioned "shirt stays"...when I was Navy, I mainly used those with NSU's. We didn't have type III's back then...but white t-shirts was a must to stock up on before deployment 👍🏾

Applied for Canadian Armed Forces for the Navy, waiting on my interview right now. I already studied all the occupations that interested me, i wrote a page of questions to ask the recruiter, checked out all the programs that id qualify for, started intense physical training, next is to memorize the Chain of Command, ranks, and who's going to be above me. Is there anything else i should do to prepare? I know the USN will be different from RCN, but im sure your input will help greatly regardless. Think about making more Military content, that side of youtube seems to have been gaining traction. Subbed for your future content related to this.

As soon as I’m out of boot camp imma use all that money to put in my IRA account which by then I could put 6,500 per year cause I’m still a minor so I can only put 3k and imma keep maxing out every year. Once I’m 50 I’ll have over 1 million dollars if I kept it waited till 70 I would have over 4 million saved up on top of that I’ll have my 401k and pension from the marine core and a pension from the fire department. Imma be rich

The advice in this video is applicable to any service branch. I would add two more bits of advice. Don't buy a new car or get married until you are at least an E-5. Save as much money as you can during your first enlistment contract. Not everyone will be a lifer and your bank account could finance the beginning of your life after military service.
