I didn’t realize this a a little kid, but definitely recognize now that the race to be the 3rd independent station in Philadelphia was so tight since WKBS 48 went off the air 3 years before this. You had 57, 65, 61 here, and even 35 before WYBE vying for that prime spot to be the new 48. The 11 bidder race to buy and relaunch 48 was hot alone with the FCC, but the winner as the 48 successor was 57… PHILLY 57.

Wow, this is very nice its bringing me back to the time pf going to SPP cause it was much more better than CEC, from the rides, to the video games, the balloon machine, skee ball lanes, to the pizza and Rockafire, it was every child's dream and not to mention I only had that Rockafire Gee our 1st album until 1987 and boy everyone in ny family loved that album, thsnks so much for this!!! 🎉❤🙂
