Volvo s60r Crank shaft seal/oil pump replacement
hope this helps sorry i didnt get the ending my camera died but the job was well done volvo is running strong as ever and the new harmonic balancer made it idle smooth as butter. crank nut was 30mm and i used 1/2 impact to break it loose and install it again. make sure to grease oil pump O-Ring so it doesn't pinch on its way back in.

Volvo s60 alarm siren replace without programming *trick
มุมมอง 953 หลายเดือนก่อน
So don't throw away any electronics from your volvos people. my sun roof stopped working because the siren i got from ebay came from a car without a sunroof. just swap the batteries within the siren that way you don't have to reprogram the mother board in the siren.

definetly get a 1/4 inch ratchet wrench and a small hex bit to fit up in there i used long needle nose pliers to tighten the top filter bolt as much as i could and then fit the hex bit into the bolt and tightened with the 1/4 inch wrench i only found open and close ended wrenches at auto parts stores so make sure you get your hands on a ratcheting version before starting this job it will make i...

มุมมอง 1306 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hey guys hope this helps, the second spring I didn't show much. it goes in between black and yellow shift forks. they should fit together nicely making almost like a crab claw kind of force this is what goes around the shifter. you should then put the loaded shift fork assembly back on the post and fasten it with the clip as shown. the spring I showed will push up against the black shift fork o...

@@EveryDayCrew1 1. Title too long-not SEO friendly, 2. Description too short-not have keywords, 3.tags too short-not high rank volume tags, 4.Not doing checklist 5.backlinks- need to fix
@@EveryDayCrew1 Do you want to fix?
Thank you for the kind advice!
YOU ROCK THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO HELP FIGURE OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY BUDDY'S RANGER FOR A WHILE! GOD BLESS YOU! 🙏
Great Job ! Too bad the music is louder than your voice. It would be helpful if you have added the actual work .
Your alternator looks just like an AC compressor 😂
Nice vid. I like how you get right to it😊 - no BS intros or other frivolous stuff. Good work!
Glad you liked it!
Wow! Been fighting this issue for years. Checked the line and found it was crumbling, with the help of some mice. Thank you so much!
Can you use non R struts on an S60R?
Yes but the chassis settings won't work and th3 codes will still be there
@@EveryDayCrew1 I just bought bottom struts from Monroe and just put the old springs on them and my 4c works again
@TmanTyler619 cool you must have just gotten the oem struts like I did if you bought non 4c struts and it says your 4c is working its definitely not working in the back
@@EveryDayCrew1 yeah I drove it once after putting them on cause the car got a check engine light while I was putting gas in then while driving it home it started idling weird and a red warning symbol came up. Check engine light went away the next morning and idles fine in the driveway so idk probably just a Volvo thing. Anyhow I jjst did an oil change and I’m flushing the transmission today and I’m hoping the jolt goes away and it drives better cause idk how well it was maintained before I bought it so wish me luck
@@TmanTyler619 make sure you reset the service and only the service for the tcm in vida it helps it shift smoother if you want to fix the shift harshness for good you'll have to change the transmission solenoids which um doing soon
I couldnt hear you over the ridiculously loud music
That alternator looks an awful lot like an ac compressor.
Ancel s300 smoke machine has it's own pump to smoke out leaks. Ebay has it.
He'll ya bro
Keep the good work up bro
I'd prefer hearing the technician narration, not the music. Any chance the music can go away?
Next video will be quality
Do you have a link and or part number for those front springs you got.? The eibach ones with the one inch drop…thank you
They are just called volvo s60r hibachi lowering springs
Fuck yeah
I’m sorry as informative as your dialogue was and would have been I had to turn the volume off because I found the background music too loud and obnoxiously irritating.
That line was so easy to overlook thank you for posting this video your the G.O.A.T.
Did you have to do any adaptation with computer?
Yes my sum module was locked and I had it reloaded at a dealership
Thanks bro
No problem
How did you disassemble the rear strut assembly?
You have to unbolt the strut from its mount
9:55 in video I explain
Dude, thanks! My leak seemed to cause very erratic idle speeds!
What you are calling an alternator is actually the air conditioner compressor. But your diagnosis is for sure correct.
My husband wanted me to tell you THANK YOU! Your vid helped fix his long time problem with his truck, he is soooo happy. His truck is idling smooth, has power, running great!
Absolutely splendid 👌
Ww
Thanks for the explanation. I will check it on my 2010 Ford Ranger.
Better gas mileage from the pcv system is more efficient and no leaks frim the radiator. Job done the right way is a job you only gotta do once
Dig the new whip
Great video, Kev! To think you're doing all this at your apartment under open sky; going to school full-time; holding down a full-time job, and just trying to get by. This is going to be a big help for your fellow mechanics out there. We'll done! Damn proud of you! WTG! Definitely want to see/hear it running when you're all done, and get your take on how the repairs you've made have helped the car. How much better does it run? Gas mileage improved? Etc...awesome video.
It’s called vacuum leak
2 years later and your about to be the reason yet ANOTHER ranger is back running smooth and getting just a bit better mileage 😂 thank you sir!
Good find man, I'll have to check my hoses and such
I have a B3000 with the same engine. I started to see hesitation and misfires. I had a smaller vacuum hose that connects to the canister purge valve that was leaking badly.
I will check the same vacuum hose buddy I have the same problem, thanx very much
I will check this out on my Ranger because it is having a rough idle.
who filmed this video?
me
Hehehehhehehehe
Its me heh
Great video thank you🖖🏻🧔🏻♀️🇺🇸
I just moved out of that Ghetto ass town. so glad to get out of there!
good job my brother
What a legend bro 😎
I wouldn't use electric tape to do that , but I have used tape and other products to make it so that wear a hose is rubbing up against something else it doesn't rub through the hose . Maybe someone had the right idea but just used the wrong damn tools .
Were you getting a flashing CEL because of a misfire at idle?
I don't think so maybe tho
Gotta look for this tomorrow ✌
I had this exact same situation!!! Same hose, same tape!! Owner that sold it to me used tape but it was cracking even more. Replaced the hose and now it's all good
(9:19) "So sorry for cussing!" 😆😅🤣. This is awesome. Looks like you guys had a blast.
