Nobody ever preaches on the wrath of God these days. They don't want to "offend" anyone. Plus, even professing Christians have bought into the nonsense that God's Word teaches we "can't judge". It's so tiring. How can the gospel go out if people aren't clear on what they are being saved FROM? Or rather, WHO!

The law of God is written in all mankind, thus makes us responsible to God, "Against you have I sinned" said King David.

Plato's "forms" idea doesn't actually didn't make sense. The idea of what a chair or tree or person look like did not come first. We don't come born into the world knowing what they are called or what they do. We only have that idea because we grew up seeing these things and someone told us what they were called and we were told or experienced what they do.

Great story, good gift for sunday school kids!

Excellent teaching. The “direct proportionate relationship” view is pagan superstition, as shown by the Maltese barbarians in Acts 28 who assumed Paul was a murderer because he was bitten by the viper. When he survived the venom they changed their minds and figured he was a god.

I struggle with guilt and fear. Thank you for this Message.

18:36 "And, again, the reality fell somewhat short of the promise." Somewhat?! And and what what became of the great Communist experiment? Well, it degenerated into Stalinism. Why is he a bit mild on Marx? Communism didn't "degenerate into Stalinism", as though that's when it became evil. It is inherently evil. It is based in coveting what others have and taking it by force. That's two of the Commandments broken right at the start.

This is a timely Warning that I need know God's Word and focus on Christ. I struggle with in both. Thank you.!!!!11

I diligently do study the Bible ~ the more I do, the more I find I need to study way more! The more I study, the more on fire I become for the Word. Probably because parents encouraged reading, I love to read ~ parents don't any longer value reading so don't pass it on! Bible INSTRUCTS us to study, not just read ~ it's about obedience.... I've also read 74 of RC Sproul's books, plus some Edwards, & other great books ....

19th century Scottish preacher Alexander Maclaren would chide his parishioners for the fancy bibles proudly displayed in their homes, in pristine condition due to being unopened.

The problem these days is that people don't read at all. This is something I don't see anyone addressing. Churches should be doing entire series on this very topic. How can we expect people to read their Bibles when they have no interest in reading anything at all?
