This version is IT Spent 2 years from 2001-2003 just accepting this was a song I would never know the truth about because I knew it wasn’t deftones_glassjaw_tool.mp3 like Morpheus wanted us to think… and then one day I was at a KORN concert the opening band trust company opened with this song

I think the album version is far superior. In this version, the singing starts too late, guitars sound weak, there's 2 bridges (??) that don't make sense. Song ends abruptly and never resolves. It's really a really interesting and rare find, but I think "Hover" sounds ten times more powerful, clean and melancholic on the album.

This version is so much better then the album version. The album version is overproduced, over softened. The contrast of the smotoh voice with the gritty guitar is what made this song great. The album version completely ruined the sound that made me like them in the first place by emphasizing the wrong stuff.

I remember hearing a version that was on Limewire which had some kind of atmospheric, space-like intro which sounded far superior to this version. Only bad part was the popping sound after the beginning. A lot of those mp3's could of been better ripped without the artifacts and noises.

It has more variety with the lyrics and the music played here had potential with some fixing up, but man, the singing is pretty bad here.
I think his voice is fine. This version has that vintage garage band sound and since I'm sure we've all heard how the polished version sounds (as well as how he sounds on other albums), this is fine given how he normally sings. The way he sings is just very distinct.

You know what I don't actually have the computer this file was store on at this point. I actually uploaded this to TH-cam back in 08', but a lot of shit got fucked up after the whole Google+ thing . I don't even have a way to pull this audio from the video. If TH-cam ever pulls this video, we're all fucked, it's gone forever. I think I actually originally downloaded the MP3 from a file sharing site like kazaa back in 2000 or 2001.

Yeah, they changed the name due to the rise of Sum41, and they didnt want there to be confusion between the two bands (the number 41)
