Lovely piano playing

Great video! Notre Dame has my favorite college fight song. I mostly watch the SEC, but I prefer a lot of the fight songs of the Midwest and the Big Ten in particular. Also a big fan of Jerry Goldsmith. Rudy is certainly great, but I’ve always loved Goldsmith’s score for Disney’s “Soarin’ over California” attraction. The behind the scenes story of his work on it is quite touching.

Really enjoying your videos. Glad you decided to start posting again. I am also a pianist and film score fan. How much do you rely on the commercially released sheet music? I have a pretty good collection but some of the piano reductions are better than others and I'm always improvising. The music of John Williams is especially hard to convert to solo piano although the Ewok Parade sounds pretty close to the orchestral version.

Brian, just watched this with my three-year old daughter. She gives it a thumbs up. I’m so impressed with you as a pianist. I didn’t get to see that side too much in high school - jazz band and maybe keyboard on Short Ride in a Fast Machine (speaking of minimalism).
