I hate that this is content. You're a vulture dude.
great video! great channel! love this content. More videos about the crazy payments people are paying on their cars
Please work on balancing your audio volume levels. We have to turn it WAY up to hear the car guy, and then when you pop with your commentary, in it blows out the ear drums of the headphone wearers. Thanks!
My apologies, im not that great at editing and can’t pay anyone to do it
Never go to a dealership for a car, ever. Buy from a private seller, coordinate a time between the seller and a mechanic to have the car inspected (usually costs $100), and make a decision based on the mechanics findings. If the seller doesn't want you to bring it to a mechanic, kick rocks and keep shopping. I found my 1999 Mirage in 2015 for $1,100. Economy car, easy to work on, daily driven, 237k miles and counting. $42 monthly insurance in FL. Probably the best financial decision I made as an adult. If you want a reliable car that will last years and years, consider a manual. Learn how to drive one PROPERLY and it will outlast an automatic by a long shot. Best of luck to y'all!
17:23 - $500/month insurance is crazy. I'm 50, own a 2010 BMW Z4 E89 3.0 and pay £290/YEAR fully comp.
@@journeyintococo6996 it honestly is, tried to get it lower but everyone wants around $500, ive been told its because im a male driver under 25 and that makes it more expensive despite having been driving since i was 16 with no tickets or accidents
I pay 560 for a 2010 honda civic its owned too. Insurance is the biggest scam. clean record btw
*WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS? A: Because they're dumb.
Over 20% interest on a depreciating asset is WILD
where do you live that the insurance is so high??? in NJ i was paying 160 a month full coverage(DWI on record) on a brand new IS500 in 2022 when it came out, and i insured it for 5k extra because of the work i did to it. Its not a a no name insurance either, Progressive. As of today i am paying 300 because i was involved in an accident(not in IS500)
I have no idea why it is so high, no accidents or tickets on my record the only thing ive been told is its that high because im under 25
I'm in St Pete, Florida. My car is a 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage, and my insurance costs $42 per month. One way I make it cheaper, I pay in full every 6 months, which knocks $120 off my 6-month premium. If you own your car outright, title in hand, your insurance should be quite affordable, if you have a clean driving record.
@@Valkyriegarage shop around other insurance companies, never stick with one. That’s how you keep it low. Once you settle with an insurance company, you end up paying more
I pay 200 a month for 500k/500k insurance with USAA, I don’t plan on changing because they treat me well and cheap insurance doesn’t necessarily mean good insurance

You're right, cars ain't cheap. Especially these days I remember a time when you could get a relatively nice sedan for under $1k. One big factor that kept costs down and also cars were cheaper in the past is that we had junkyards easily available, but these days only pick a part exists and most of them are way out of the way for most people. Once cash 4 clunkers happened we really lost purchasing flexibility and parts skyrocketed in price. Also if you're a "new car enthusiast" and want to fix your own stuff, get ready to make investments in tools. Take advantage of the wisdom and tool investments other people have made on youtube so you don't have to struggle and buy 3 of the same tool to do 1 job. The 1 benefit I get out of my current toolset is that I'm not waiting on an appointment from a shop except to get it inspected or suspension alignment (which is still DIYable).
Completely agree with you and i appreciate the comment
sick video keep em upp
thank you guys for all the support
How does the celica to in the snow?
Sorry to get back so late but I haven’t owned it in snow but as a fwd car as long as its not heavy snow it should do pretty good
