Ever since I started growing boobs, probably around 10 years old, I have always hated them and tried to hide them. In very early adulthood I did question my gender, and considered trans as a possibility, but it didn't feel right at all, even more so than being a female, which I also didn't fully identify with. Well turns out, I'm neurodivergent, and neurodivergent people tend to not have much attachment to gender, and it also explains why I never fully related to other women, because I am different, just not because of my gender. Anyway I'm female, maybe agender because my ideal self is sexless (partly due to sexual trauma and the typical female experience of being sexualized, stared at, harrassed, ect by creepy men our whole lives), and yeah I really really hate having boobs. They're uncomfortable, sweaty, uncomfortably hot, even "comfortable" bras are uncomfortable and not wearing one around other people is extremely uncomfortable, always being aware of their existence, wearing hoodies in hot weather to hide them, dealing with men staring at them, feeling like everyone is looking at them, you can't jump without them going all over so even more self conscious, them getting tender around your period, they can make you look fat, ect, and the pressure of a bra around my chest makes my anxiety way worse because I feel like it makes it harder to breathe (cause covid scarred my lungs, yay). literally nothing is good about boobs, they're sexy on other women but I hate them on myself. Idk if I'll ever get top surgery because I'm scared of surgery and of pain and of getting a bad result and of "what if I regret it because I'm not trans?" and of no guy ever finding me attractive (which is stupid cause I don't want anyone that shallow but my anxiety and insecurity still persists) and of making decisions... Idk.

A woman or an intersex who has no internal or external testes has no business with lesbianism. There is no natural urge to get involved in female- female sex relationships. They should well into her case biologically and psychologically.

Bravo Duje! As a 73 year old gay man who will be traveling to Split this October with my husband, I really look forward to visiting Split’s LGBT Centar (as well as Zagreb’s) to perhaps get a better sense of how the community has been evolving over time. Having been an activist since the Stonewall uprising , the opportunity to perhaps speak with Croatians about their LGBT history will be priceless! Cheers from San Francisco, California! If you (and your friends) wish to meet for coffee or lunch, that would be delightful. I am certain we all might have important stories to share! I am on Facebook should you wish to reach out.

Thanks, I needed to hear this. As someone who doesn't know what they identify as but wanted top surgery for as long as they knew existed, I resonate with this so much. Ive sometimes felt transmasc and sometimes felt like a girl, ultimately I realized I am a flat chested person. As I get closer to surgery day I've just been having so much anxiety and feeling a sort of imposter syndrome. this helps

That's such a painful story.. I feel so sad Of course someone who has been in the closet in order to survive, maybe has not had the chance to free their mind yet, and develop their whole free personality in their full sexuality yet.. it's absurd to think they could under so much threat! It's very natural that this can take years to figure out completely! How can any government official who is tasked with protecting LGBTQ refugees not understand the process of coming out! Especially from such a repressive country which has suffered the British colonial history. I'm in a liberal country in the west, and I didnt come out til my late 20s, and my parents took me to pride parades since I was a teenager and I still didn't know! That's so unjust that an official would discriminate, and not understand that especially female sexuality would take longer than others to develop, in order to protect yourself and actually stay alive! The very real threat of sv and other forms of psychological abuse is so scary. The process of coming out is long and complicated. Very few LGBTQ people know clearly that they are that way since early childhood or early teens. It's very very common for it to take til early twenties or late twenties or thirties, or fifties, or seventies! And that is ok! That is the very real consequence of societal violence worldwide to our community, and it's not our fault, nor a weakness of mind, not to know who they really are until they have time to heal from the force of societal pressures to be straight and the assumed straight upbringing. I'm so so sorry she has experienced that intimidation from officials. That should absolutely not happen. It's completely unethical. I'm so very disappointed to know that kind of aggression could be permitted by the management of refugee services. To scare a refugee this way, as if it protects Sweden from "cheating" asylum seekers is ineffective and unethical. It's not a true test, and only furthers the harm that brave refugees have gone through. I'm happy to sign something for her, and I hope many others do too! Thank you for highlighting her story, I hope her and her wife have many happy years ahead together ❤

Honestly this resonates with me even as a trans woman. When I medically and surgically transitioned I felt I was finally comfortable and stable enough in my body and my womanhood that I could express my more tomboyish mannerisms and attitude, in ways I hadn’t done since primary school before puberty and gender roles became prevalent. Being trans in my opinion isn’t (or shouldn’t) be about passing to another gender binary because you feel that way by society, but rather as a way to live what feels most authentic and true for you. Respect to all binary trans folk, non binary trans folk, gender non conforming cis folk, love whatever way feels like your living your truth, take your time and love yourself ❤️

Ayele oo ibosio Olololo ay ya ya ya I'm gonna be a Quraysh and say, no, you are not me. I'm not a feminist, not a liberal Muslim. I'm not saying I'm more rightly guided than you, though…though I can say the reason why Christianity is so confusing and confused is because they're divided into sects and have different Bibles, and this is because some people got angry and said the Bible should be changed much more than it already has. I agree with you on the fact that you shouldn't respect abusive parents, because they disrespected you as a human being. Hail, they're barely Muslim. Restricting children in the name of Islam while not following the rules of Islam is just cap capper cappest. Come to Nigeria, omoge. My final takeaway: being asexual and aromantic takes nothing from your deen. You're not like the homosexual who must repress their desires, as you have none at all, nor like the transgender who must be close to insanity before rightfully changing their gender. However, be aware that intimacy is compulsory in a relationship, a grounds for divorce, so you must explain this to future perspective partners, or decide to not marry at all to avoid embarrassment. Allah will not judge you for not giving what you don't have. Islam also encourages that sex is consensual. Be warned: same sex marriage is not halal.
