Not my issue but subscribed none the less. I have been struggling on my 97 12 valve started off with intermittened fuel shut off solenoid issues. About 30% of the time i have to pull it up manually with a wire i tied to linkage with ignition on. The other day i was helping my brother water trees he planted. left hazzard lights on too long and drained the batteries down. didn't want to crank even with jump. moved batteries around and cleaned everything and it fired up. now the day after i have fully charged batteries and NOTHING. no crank, no click, jack shit. inspected terminals and discovered one was cracked. replaced to no avail. I'm beginning to think starter as it's about 3 years old and last one failed in a very similar way. Never had a starter go quite like the ones in these cummins. You would swear it had to be a switch (I.E. clutch position sensor). Pretty damned odd. Also found an oldssecurity system burries under the dash I never noticed. It's a micro DLR4, I don't know what all it does but I am in the process of getting rid of the damned thing to eliminate it as a possible source of issues. Anyways, good video. Brief, to the point and low on the bullshit. Just the way I like em. Keep up the good work man.

I have a 2004 F-350 7.3 l engine I'm about to change my transmission out I don't believe I have to worry about putting my truck up on jack stands because I have a 10 inch lift on it the only issue I have I'm 63 years old I'm not going to be able to manhandle the transfer case like you did lol those days are over for me... I feel like I have that much spark left in me but I will say this is going to be my last rodeo lol.. thanks my friend great video oh!! yeah and wish me luck!!....

You split the vacuum pump, you didn’t remove both pumps as an assembly. Will make assembly harder, trying to stab the tabs through back half of vacuum pump housing. Had you gone closer to timing gear case, there are two bolts that hold the vacuum pump onto the timing gear case.

Definitely comes loose even with that fix been there done that and doing it again right now and will be a permanent fix this time I’m welding it

At 6:10 your BRAIN FART is why I can't get my vacuum pump out with the power steering pump attached. THANK YOU and I am heading back to the garage!!! I wish you had shown how you got at that nut, it is totally on the back side where you can't see it. OK, All that nut on the L-Bracket took was a regular 15mm socket, 3/8" ratchet wrench. It was easy.

Hey bro hope you see this, my dads 2001 dodge 3500 24 valve truck is having problems with the shifting and the gears. We lifted up the truck and put it in neutral and it acts like it’s in drive, then we go reverse and the tires lock up after a couple of spins. Is it the transmission? It’s an automatic. 5.9 liter.
