BEST Method to Clean Glass Awnings WITHOUT Harsh Chemicals
Try this method if you are worried about using just a water fed pole or sodium hypochlorite.
I think this is the absolute best method to clean glass awnings as they can be super tricky to get really clean and have happy customers.
If you want to add a splash of SH to the mix, you definitely can if you aren’t worried about using the bleach in the mix.

    Are these “symptoms” highly suspicious? very gradually get a lump in the throat feeling with a bit of tightness there come on and linger for a couple hours after I eat something then usually stops, but then will come back on without anything some other time, doesn’t affect my breathing at all though, the tight feeling/ urge to swallow a lump makes it harder to sleep sometimes..

    39 does indicate EOE. Anything over 15 is EOE. That’s the defined portion of diagnosing it. You don’t just have the issue disappear, you can go into remission, but it can randomly come back overnight after months and years of it being gone. Go look up diagnostic guidelines on it. Over 15 anywhere in the esophagus is EOE.

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had 39 in my lower part which doesn’t always indicate EoE which is what I was told. My eosinophil counts were high in the upper part which indicates more EoE because people can have eosinophil counts from GERD or a “leaky” valve to the stomach which then is not EoE. But hey this is just what I’ve been told. My EoE was very gradual, never an overnight thing, so the only way I feel symptoms is if I were to eat tons of dairy for months and months.

    Yeah this cropped up in my ~10 years ago out of nowhere. Food good stuck at a work lunch, bad time all around. I also had some GERD issues which compounded this. I've cut back on dairy and it has helped a ton. Endoscopies still show a high EoE count and rings; however, food swallowing issues are almost entirely gone now. I've also gotten to the point that if food gets stuck, I can actually relax and get it to go down..... (hard to explain, buuuuut) They put me on PPIs to see if EoE count would go down, but it did not help. Currently looking at getting Jorveza (orodispersible budesonide) to see if that actually clears up counts/rings. P.S. Yes, dairy seems to cause me a lot of issues as well, which sucks. I remember when I was testing and getting scopes. I had to be SUPER strict on my diet. But now I’ve been off it I don’t have EoE anymore according to my eosinophil counts. Hopefully your scope goes well!

    Been suffering for exactly one year, did an endoscopy recently and discovered I have eoe.. If you were to give the ideal roadmap to success to heal what would it be? Maybe the strict 6 elim diet while on ppi’s for x amount of time? I’m open to your roadmap as someone who made it through it.

      Honestly, just knowing if you have EoE is a way better start than I had. It was many months before I was able to get a scope and confirm anything. I will leave a link to the exact plan I did to get me back to normal. It sucks a bit at the start eliminating everything basically but it gets better once you figure trigger foods out. I did this diet but also took 20mg of PPI at the same time. PPI's really helped me but the diet is #1 out of anything. I'd take PPIs till you have it figured out and no more symptoms. Then you could maybe look at reducing the amount over time but I've been on them for years and still take a really low dose. www.chelcceleste.com/product-page/be-free-from-eoe-ebook-bundle

    Proton pump inhibitors have been shown to stop inflammation in patients with EoE. You still have EoE but it’s in remission because of PPI. I have it as well but choose not to take PPI long term.

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting, I haven't heard that before. If you don't take PPIs and don't have symptoms of EoE I'd imagine you don't have it anymore but I'm not sure. I definitely don't want to take them long term either as I'd rather not take anything long term that I'm reliant on.

    • @benjamesv
      @benjamesv 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do not stop taking PPIs, trust me, it’ll come back. If you really want to stop PPI, ask your gastroenterologist first, and get scoped regularly when coming off the PPI.

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I actually did that test previously and EoE came back. I might try it again now and see as I don’t have the same symptoms as before so that’s why I’m still taking them for now.

    • @benjamesv
      @benjamesv 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you stop PPI you will still need to treat the EoE with something else, either an elimination diet (avoiding dairy) or a swallowed steroid. But who knows, maybe yours is completely gone. But I’m just speaking from my experience, I felt better, then I got lazy with my PPI, I was taking it once every 4 days, and then I had another food impaction, and now I’m on PPI morning and night.

    I was diagnosed with eoe in 2016 I had eliminated just seafood and I thought I had it under control fast forward 2021 I was dealing with eoe again and I just made the decision to eliminated all 6.... but 2024 I want to see where I am at I'm pretty sure I'm not allergic to all 6 .... but I am scared to feeling food impaction....

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Food impactions definitely suck so it's probably a good idea to figure out what's triggering your EoE. It also may be causing more stomach acid which is typically why people get food stuck (in the lower part). If you're really struggling, I would probably stay away from alcohol, spicy foods and whatever the trigger food is too.

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's definitely a loaded question because I have no idea what stage you're at and what you're eliminating. Honestly, when I eliminated everything to begin with (when I could finally eat solid food), I was probably eating a lot of rice, chicken/meats and fish, veggies, and oatmeal. I'd also have some soups loaded with nutrients and then lots of smoothies. If you want to know exactly what I ate and did to heal EoE I'll leave this guide here: www.chelcceleste.com/webinar-registration. You can also check out the smoothie video I just posted which shows you what I made all the time. You can add chia seeds, flex seeds, hemp hearts and whatever else you want to it to make it even more loaded with calories and nutrients. Hope this helps!

    its funny you said peach because before i was diagnosed with EOE or knew what it was i had an aversion to eating peaches because they would always cause me pain and get stuck in the esophagus. apples too. not sure if it was the acids in them or what.

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ha yeah, the crazy thing was I spent hours in emergency from it just waiting and they didn't really do anything. Just slowly went down. Could definitely be caused from stomach acid in the lower part of the esophagus causing eosinophils to be present there. That's mainly why people get food stuck in the lower part.

      I've been really lucky I have some great doctors and the advice I've heard is that you can outgrow it if you treat it like I did with PPIs and staying away from trigger foods. It seemed to have worked for me but obviously not the case for everyone. I'm still not going to go crazy with dairy in my case but I'll definitely have it on occasion and not feel I can't if I'm out with people.

    Hey Luke. I laughed at the spot in the video where you said you try to fight the anesthesia...I just had another dilation and biopsy yesterday and I do that every-time. I wont go through my story as its too long, but Im 63 and it all started when I was 24 years old. Had every test known to man kind done. My EOE is not a result of GERD. I have done the food elimination diet, steroid sprays, ampitriptline which is supposed to help, and a murried of other things. I have a GREAT gastroenterologist and he said Im one of the worst EOE patients he's seen. I have chocked on food more times than i can remember. I have been dilated more than a dozen times. I used to fly a lot for my business...i used to purposely sit in an isle seat as it was a disaster when i was next to the window and i had to get up quickly to rush to the bathroom to try and get it to come back up. My Dr is now suggesting I go on Dupixen. It is a once a week, once every 2 week, or once a month injection, but when your on it, its for life...im not sure im ready to go there. Its cool hearing about other peoples struggles with it as if you dont have it, you really have no idea what its like to constantly be worried is the next bite gonna be the one. I'm a gym rat as well, and can appreciate how tough it is to have to stay away from certain foods. I have been an entrepreneur since I was 31, so good luck with your business, wish you much success!

    So you have to get scoped every 2 months? Until you have introduced all 6 foods? I am interested in doing this method but it sounds like a lot of money in hospital bills. My first scope cost over $1k. Oh well :/

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I eliminated everything, then had a baseline without any symptoms etc. Then as I introduce 1 of the 6 foods, I test again with a scope/biopsy every 2 months then introduce another. I live in Canada so luckily I don't have t pay for them directly. But at the time I discovered all my problems, it took a while to get a specialist because I'm also in Canada.

    • @LKGJO

      I'm definitely doing so much better. I honestly don't really try to swallow pills at all...I have taken some Advil a few times but that was the biggest pill and didn't have any problems. The PPIs I take are super small so they have never been an issue, even when I was full blown symptoms. As far as liquid diet...I was on liquids before I started firefighting and also throughout all my training and then some...I'd have to really think but I think it was honestly many months on all liquid before I got help and figured to go on the elimination diet.

  • @realprettybasic
    @realprettybasic 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    How do you afford this many scopes per year? I was just diagnosed with EOE and I've had stomach and food allergy issues for years, so I am already used to eliminating things from my diet, however, I didn't realize how many I would have to eliminate with EOE. There's many people who talk about introducing things back into their diet and then getting scoped every 6 to 8 weeks... Weeks... How is that affordable? I do have health insurance, but a scope cost around 1400$ each time 😒

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm from Canada so I don't pay for it upfront. If I had to front a big bill, I'd honestly try and do the elimination diet for maybe a bit longer and then really watch for symptoms. On the top of my head, if I was testing dairy, I feel like I'd have more dairy during the testing time and see if I got bad symptoms. Honestly though, now that I've been on PPIs for years and don't have dairy all the time, I can have dairy now and not feel any symptoms but that wasn't the case before. Maybe I can do some research and see if there's a more affordable way other than what I suggested.

      is your plan to take PPIs for life? did they ever mention if you had a problem with the stomach valve or something that keeps you getting reflux issues? also, do you ever notice you have chronic stomach bloating? i never get heartburn the way most people think of it with the burning and chest discomfort but what i do get is constant throat clearing and a feeling of my esophagus always being rubbed raw with sandpaper. i notice it sometimes when drinking water, it almost feels like the water is going over an open wound in a particular spot. i hate doing the scopes so ive been trying to monitor my issues mostly with symptoms but i think i have chronic LPR (laryngeal reflux) which is a reflux that you dont always feel happening. im wondering if my esophagus or stomach valve is messed up but the doctors never mentioned anything looked out of place during the scope. i have a hypothesis that the gas and bloating i get is pushing and aerosolizing little bits of acid through the valve and thats what gives me this chronic mild reflux. but i dont know how to stop it because no matter what diet i switch to (even 0 carb keto) i get bloating. @@LKGJO

    • @LKGJO
      @LKGJO 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely not planning on taking PPIs for life. They didn't mention that I specifically have a problem with the valve, more so dairy causing stomach acid. A "leaky valve" can be caused by a few things but more common is overweight people says my doctor. If I had really bad stomach acid, I'd almost feel it in the "air" in my throat. Doesn't happen often at all though. I'm not sure what to tell you, I'd imagine it has to be some diet problem but might have to really focus on healing the gut, which may include adding stuff like inulin and other stuff but also eliminating certain foods.
