people laugh when I tell them this is the best game of all time. you had to be there to understand it :)

Btw I'M NOT CRYING MY EYES ARE JUST SUPER SWEATY!!!!!!! Its super hot in here!!! Nostalgia kicks really hard in this one. I'm so glad I could experience something like this insted of Fortnite or something kids plays nowdays. They will never understand that pain when you had to grind for several hours just for materials for one +. Just to read from blacksmith that it didn't woked out. In the end it was definitly worh it. Sadly there is no way how to get back into years 2008-2014. But after hearing this I feel like I just woke up in those years.

benim bu oyunla ilgili değişik bir anım var. sene 2007-2008 askeri lojmanda herkes metin2 oynuyor. ben ve babamın devrelerinin çocukları gizli gizli internet kafede oynuyoruz. babalar kızıyor tabi, klasik ders çalış zırvaları falan filan. biz takmıyoruz deli gibi okulda,parkta,havuzda,lokalde aklınıza gelebilecek her yerde metin2 konuşuyoruz. böyle böyle biz iyice oyunla yatıp kalkıyoruz derken babam eve internet bağlatıyor. bilgisayar zaten var. bakın şöyle tarif edeyim ben orada aldığım anlık zevki başka yerde almadım. millet babadan gizli p*rno izlerken ben metin2 oynuyordum. böyle baya bir zaman geçti ve oyuna güncelleme geldi. bilgisayar açmıyor aw oyununu. nasıl çıldırıyorum zaten ergenim. haberler geliyor ben doluyu +8 bastım kdp ye taş girdim falan filan ben artık eroinmen gibi bilgisayar tamircisi arıyorum. sormadığım adam kalmıyor babamlarla kavga ediyorum yeni bilgisayar al diye. üzüntüme dayanamayan annem komşulara haber salıyor ve yamulmuyorsam bir tane binbaşı bilgisayardan anladığı, onun halledebileceği haberini alıyorum. komutana gidip abi böyle böyle ben bir oyun oynuyorum pc çalıştırmıyor falan diye dert yanıyorum. komutan he tamam sg tarzıyla beni yolluyor. yolluyor yolluyor ama 1 hafta geçti pc yok 10 gün falan derken en sonunda pc'yi getirdi. ben hemen teşekkürümü edip kurulumu yaptım aradan 10-15 dk geçmedi pc yi götürdüğüm komutanın karısı geldi. bana aynen söylediğini yazıyorum ''çağatay senin allah belanı versin. sen de pc nde oyunun da yere batsın. getrdin pc yi önce oyunu yükledi sonra bakayım çalışıyor mu dedi şimdi de pc almaya gidiyor sırf oyun için. gece gündüz oyun oynuyor.'' biz lojmandan taşınırken adam para yüklüyordu 2.kata çıkmak için. alesta da takılanlar varsa svs loncasının lideriydi. o dönem ilker paşadan daha çok saygı duyuyordum o adama

Most nostalgic music ever I swear. Sure, the game was essentially a mediocre pay to win grindfest MMO, but it had that charm to it, you know? When I was young, I'd go to my cousin and talk about Metin 2 with her, playing with her at home. We had our own group that played this game and sometimes we roleplayed Metin 2 in real life, I always loved to be a Shaman. My characters were all female Shamans of course, as I'm a gal and it was weird playing as any other character ^^;. Oh Leyla and Katya, how I miss you both. Unfortunately, none of my... former friends care anymore, about anything we did when we were young. They went their own paths and are focused on jobs and adult life now. I feel as if I'm still the only one who sits down and just listens to this sort of music who transports me right back to that time period, ruminating about how good life used to be and almost crying about it. It's been almost a decade since I stopped playing on all those wonderful private servers who increased the overall fun of the game a lot. Made so many friends, raided so many dungeons... heck, I even had fun while endlessly farming Metins for items and gear. Nowadays, I don't have any friends and I'm nothing short of depressed. I miss those times. Back when I was carefree and had no reason to be stressed, or depressed, or anxious about anything. Just an innocent child enjoying the wonders this game had to offer to me. I'm a different person these days. :c But, I guess I should be glad that it even happened. Not many people had the privilege of having such a good experience in their childhood, and that lifts my spirits up a little.

I entered this game later, was it last year or what, I didn't get the same taste. Once, secretly from my family, I used to play with my character until the morning, and I would not get bored in the least. But in the last attempt, I closed the 10 level without seeing it, it didn't amuse. It's not just the absence of friends, the game was boring as well. So the beauty is not in the game, but in the perception of the world of the child who lived in those years and at that time. Over the years, we've changed, too, and now we don't like the things we used to like. Even if Metin2 becomes the old Metin2 again, even if the whole world goes back to those years, I am not the old me anymore. The past is gone forever. I will never feel again what I felt in the past.

i just remembered i had a girlfriend on metin 2 LOL but the od times man.. they are gone in a a matter of seconds and its hard. i starte when i was 8 and i stopped when i was 10
