The Jesus of Revelation | Michael d'Offay | 17 November 2024
“If we’re not careful we can form a Jesus that is domesticated, that fits into our world, rather than us into His.”
In this succinct sermon, Micheal d’Offay, elder in Joshua Generation Church and Dean of Leap in South Africa, reminds us of the danger of serving a Jesus we’ve made in our image. Using the book of Revelation, he takes the listener on a journey of beholding Jesus for Who He truly is, and encourages us to allow the Lord to shift and mould us as a response to His greatness, and tender mercy.

Growing With Help | Andrew Selley | 10 November 2024
มุมมอง 86919 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
“I have learned to need, and lean into others, to help me find my way forward. As members of His body, God has called us to grow with help.” For many of us, the idea of all parts of our lives and selves being in the light does not sound comforting. Even more confronting can be the idea of leaders speaking truth into the very areas we prefer to keep hidden. Yet this is the very way the Lord has ...
Modern-Day Apostle: Biblical or Not? | Andrew Selley | 11 November 2024
มุมมอง 93314 วันที่ผ่านมา
“In the New Testament, there isn’t one church who isn’t linked to an apostolic voice.” In modern-day church, the term ‘apostle’ is often viewed as a role assigned only to the original twelve Apostles and Paul, or as a position which man has used to assert power. But what does the Bible say about this role, and how does it apply to our lives and churches today? In this sermon, Andrew Selley, vis...
'Us', Not 'I' | Andrew Selley | 27 October 2024
มุมมอง 98321 วันที่ผ่านมา
“It’s not just about me and Jesus. It’s about US and Jesus.” In Western culture, we are flooded with ideology that celebrates independence. Unfortunately, this type of thinking has filtered into Christianity, deceiving many into believing that they can run their Christian race alone. In this timely sermon, Andrew Selley, visionary elder of Joshua Generation Church and @four12global, unpacks Scr...
Returning to God's Ways | Andrew Selley | 20 October 2024
มุมมอง 1.3K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
“Don’t go beyond what is written. We need to come back to the Bible; back to the ways of God.” In this direct message, Andrew Selley, visionary elder of Joshua Generation Church and @four12global, addresses the vital importance of building church on Biblical, not cultural, foundations. He urges listeners to not be swayed by the prevailing consumer culture but to allow the Spirit to align our he...
Why are We Here? | Andrew Selley | 13 October 2024
มุมมอง 1.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
“…we’re a people built for King Jesus and we are going to build His way..” Andrew Selley, leader of Joshua Generation Church and @four12global, digs into the concept of reformation and what God is doing amongst us as His Church. Explaining that there is no ‘new thing’, there is only ‘what the Bible says’, Andrew shows us that we are all called to go back to the Bible and look at what God wants ...
Jesus, My True Calling | Anton & Annelien Le Grange
มุมมอง 824หลายเดือนก่อน
“It wasn’t about ‘my calling’ anymore. It became about being with Jesus and obeying Him on the journey. Everything else faded away, and He became the calling.” Anton Le Grange openly shares the journey the Lord has had him on since He saved him - a gradual journey of recognising that, even though he had a godly desire to go into full-time ministry, the calling would never satisfy him. In the se...
It's Only Good if it's Understood | Andrew Selley | 15 September 2024

“We need to know how hopeless our state without Jesus is to truly appreciate how good the Good News is.” In this sobering message, Andrew takes us on a journey of considering the severity of God in order for the extravagance of His kindness to be made known (Rom 22:11). He reminds us that right from the beginning, man began to believe that he can decide what is good and what is evil, and that u...
Created for Intimacy | Andrew Selley | Sunday, 08 September 2024

“If Bible study doesn’t lead you to encounter God, it’s pointless.” A flower cut off from the plant will eventually wilt and die. Andrew uses this vivid illustration to open his message in which he poses a vital question - how do we remain in Jesus, and encounter Him as individuals? He reminds us that God is jealous for us - that He longs for intimacy, and when we seek Him with all of our heart...
Church is Family | Andrew Selley | 25 August 2024

“We have to be so careful that church never becomes a preaching centre. Church is family.” During a well-known teaching moment in Jesus’ life, Jesus invited the children to come to Him and rebuked His disciples for hindering them (Mat 19:13 - 14). In this special dedication and baptism service, Andrew Selley, visionary elder of Joshua Generation Church, shares that this paints a beautiful pictu...

Tithing isn’t in the New Testament, in fact it’s only in the old and only for the Israelites, giving is in the New Testament, and Jesus invites us to sell what we have and give to the poor, to receive treasure in heaven . …because use you mentioned challenge you on anything unbiblical Andrew👍🏽

I’d just like to point out a few inaccuracies and mistakes in your comment. Please note, this is written with respect and honor towards you, however, I cannot in good Conscience let this misunderstanding play into the weak sinful nature of onlookers who will be lead astray because of your comment. As I hope you are aware the Bible speaks sternly to those that lead his people astray, especially because you have no done a great job at explaining yourself on a public platform (TH-cam comments). Inaccurate information: 1. Tithing isn’t in the New Testament Matthew 23:23 Luke 11:42 Hebrews 7:1-8 1 Timothy 5:18 1 Corinthians 9:12 (Paul calls it a right) 2. Only for the Israelites Genesis‬ ‭14‬:‭19‬-‭20 (Tithe (tenth), before the law and before the nation of Israel was formed) Genesis 28:21-22 (same thing) Numbers‬ ‭18‬:‭21‬ ‭‬‬(tithe was established only here, however, note the previous scriptures that show this before the law) 3. Additional Biblical principals to consider God’s full time workers deserve a pay for their Spiritual work among us: ‭‭1 Timothy 5:18 (principal to pay God’s workers) 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬ (Financial pay again) 1 Corinthians 9:12 (Paul calls it a right) Despite him not using it, it’s his right to decide or not. 4. Ending remarks I’d just like to end with this, challenging a leader in the House of God on an area of doctrine, on TH-cam comments is dishonourable. Don't hide behind the fact that you yourself won’t be challenged or confronted and you use that freedom to say what you want without reproach. Honestly, I don't believe that randomly challenging an area of doctrine, especially a topic not even spoken or explored in the video in the comment section of TH-cam is useful or the correct approach, do you think that’s going to reflect Christ or bring about a fruitful discussion? I’d recommend you rather seek out contact information, or messages on Facebook if you want to have a fruitful conversation and actually challenge an area or doctrine correctly. Don’t just throw stones, and potentially lead people in the wrong direction by claiming something is unbiblical without properly explaining your position... Please don't take this the wrong way but rather challenge doctrine in a better way and not in the TH-cam comment section. God bless! :)

Additionally: People love money and it’s the biggest modern day idol; consider this too: As I’m sure you are aware money is a huge idol today in this day and age. Jesus even reveals that the love for money is attached to the demonic and he also states that you cannot serve both God and money. Jesus talks a lot about money, this should in tension with everything I have already mentioned be a big indicator to rather think twice about endorsing peoples love for money by insinuating that the tithe is not biblical in the New Testament, because if you truly believe what you have said, whether right or wrong, you should of communicated it correctly and comprehensively If you want to share you thoughts in a public manner. Again keeping in mind the fact that the love for money is so prevalent in our day and age I’d caution you against endorsing it especially when remembering this: “If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6 No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Matthew 6:24 ““Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices-mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23‬:‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This guy is a baby trying to handle big boy power tools… as far as eschatology goes, he is bumbling along aimlessly. Essentially, the movement that he is from (both Josh Gen and F12) are built on false foundations with false prophets and false “apostles”. He lightly and inaccurately refers to scriptures but he doesn’t actually know the Word … I know this firsthand..:

Too much acting in this sermon - and using psychology & neuro-linguistic programming by dropping subtle key words (like saying "...come out of it.." after the word "church") and we as Christians are supposed to talk on social media against all evil actions, which he here says we should not do. We are supposed to be part of the RESTRAINER due to having the Holy Spirit in us!! I believe he is a planted woke actor, in this congregation to counter the Christian social media reactions to evil acts, so he is planted to weaken the church's voice against Satan! We have to be ultra aware of the subtle signs that show us the serpents in our congregations!

Most of the "Christian" reactions to this event opening, aside from what you believe/saw/ did not see was very negative and unlike how I believe Jesus would have responded. And I saw Christians fighting Christians on this matter. That is what upset me most. Instead of praying for the people that seemingly offended them. But what I don't understand is why people can take offense of what they believed to be a mockery at a worldly event where there are athletes representing thousands of religions from scores of countries but no-one takes offense about an Easter bunny with eggs or participate in a festivity celebrating a character with reindeer and red clothes judging who was good and who was bad and having parents tell lies and hide presents until their kids discover "my parents lied to me" and give them that first bitter taste from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
