Can someone please tell me why the helicoptere circles a bit close to the ground before soaring up instead of lift up at once wheels up?

Please Can anyone answer why the helicopter always turns round on take off and comes down then rises fast in a up wards position. Many pilots just take off and get speed as they rise with a straight flight ahead.
