A chat with Adrian Dyke and an update on the new Yokohama Neova tyres fitted this year plus thoughts on the rear brake calipers on my Alfa1750 GTV twin spark.

Adrian Dyke drives my Alfa 1750 GTV twin spark around the Goodwood circuit. the car is now fitted with a complete Omex engine management system and ITBs plus 4.3:1 limited slip diff which gives quicker acceleration and less need to change down thanks to increased torque.

Classic Alfa Track Day, Goodwood June 11th 2022. Another great event on this iconic track in perfect conditions with lots of great cars including 115 series GTVs. I think my passenger Jackie enjoyed the experience. Ian Ellis had a drive and remarked 'it's alright'! I have never been so quick in my car before.

Great day out on this iconic track, seen here chasing down a very well driven Giullietta Spider with a 148 bhp race engine fitted. Check out the gorgeous Montreal in the closing shot. Excellent organisation by the marshalls and Classic Alfa team with an eclectic mix of Alfas on track.

Winter work on the Spider to include new trailing arm bushes, new Koni red shocks all round, new exhaust heat shields, new roll bar bushes, new front top arm and bushes, new rear discs, clean up and repaint of all components.

Took my Alfa1750 GTV twin spark for a spin round Goodwood, literally!Car was overheating and dumped coolant at St Mary's resulting in a spin off. My passenger Andrew was slightly shaken and we were both glad we didn't hit anything or anyone.

Starting a timed run over a short course, sharp left at the top of the rise then a hairpin right, chicane and run up to the finish in the trees.
